Strength:

The side angle view is great! Nothing like the older models where the picture would get horribly distorted if you stood up or walk off to the side.

Weakness:

the remote would be better if it had backlights for the keys, and the frequently used keys do ware down to nothing but gray nubs. I think this remote is universal for all Mitsu TV's.

I bought this model in December 0f 2000 and have not had a single problem with the TV. I tweek the convergence every few months, but it is never really out all that much. This TV is great, and I am sorry that Mitsu doesn't make projection TV's under 50" anymore. My Sister and my parents both bought Mitsu bigscreens after seeing mine.

TV has excellent picture quality from any angle. Remote is easy to use, however does not have backlit keys. This makes it difficult to use without lights on. Also, all of the marking wear of the most frequently used keys. The screen saver is a must have with young children or pets in the house.
