Strength:

tight quick clear

Weakness:

non noticed

I have had many subs in combination with many speakers. Most are to boomy, to difficult to blend with the main speakers or just to slow. This sub has a very tight quick sound. It is not muddled but each note is right to the point. Blending it in with mains is easy because of this. I use it in a 2 channel system and play, rock, classical, soundtracks, jazz, soul, acoustic new age and more. Fanfare for the common man is a very hard piece to reproduce. The low rolling drums are very clear. You actually get clear beats which cause that rolling effect.
The wood veneer is beautiful. The controls are easy to work with. This is a compact but heavy sub. Good spikes.
