Strength:

Price/performance ratio, customer service, SOUND!

Weakness:

Nada

Much has been said about the shipping and performance of this sub. Make no mistake about it, this IS the sub company you want to buy your first or next sub from. Right now, I'm listening to the Rev. Al Green's greatest hits; a remastered delight...the bass? It's perfect, natural sounding. No boomy, not thumpy, right where it belongs...I'm serious when I say it brings a tear to my eye...it's that good! I can almost see the bass player.

I've got the SVS in a home theatre setup with Klipsch's all around, it mixes VERY well with them. Even though my fronts are KG 5.5 towers, all speakers are set to small. With that bass load off my receiver (Yamaha 2092), the mid and upper ranges are produced effortlessly and (thanks to Ron and Tom of SVS) the bass is as well.

Customer service? Better than outstanding. It's like talking to a friend. Any questions are answered, any problems are resolved. If Tom or Ron ever visit upstate NY, they're welcome in my home. Hell, I'll even buy the beer.

Just like Kleenex is synonomous with tissues and Coke with cola, SVS is IT! The real thing.
