NHT ASW8 Ci Subwoofers

Truly full-range architectural sound is easy and attractive with the new ASW8 Ci in-wall powered subwoofer system. The ASW8 Ci employs the woofer, the enclosure is constructed of 1/2"" MDF and is internally braced in two locations over the length of the cabinet for added rigidity. Its dimensions allow mounting between adjacent studs spaced apart (on center). A convenient square template protects the driver during installation and later serves as a stencil for the drywall cutout. Isolation gaskets on the front, back and sides of the enclosure prevent unwanted audible ""buzzing"" sounds within the wall. Another foam isolation gasket around the inside perimeter of the bezel prevents vibrations against the drywall. Professional grade, spring-loaded all-metal binding posts ensure permanent wire connection.

High quality sub, great sounding and you don't see anything but a small 12" grill. You can add a second woofer and use the same amp to power both woofers.

None that I have come up with.. I got from the internet and got a good price because they weren't authorized dealer but I can't remember the sub's price since we got so much stuff ($1500 worth)

I setup my Dad's new home theater with all the NHT's architectural series, superone's etc. This was my one concern the in wall sub. His room is very large, actually family room, kitchen and dining room, all together. I was very surprised how well this thing rocks for an 8" in- wall. It performs very well on both music and movies, never sounding boomy, I was worried about the 8" woofer, but it is more then enough for this room, and the amp is only turned up half way. The amp is obviously a seperate piece of equipment, but it has all the in's and outs and crossovers you will need.

Similar Products Used: NHT super Two's, no other immediate sub experience except a friends's small kenwood sub, I use an old passive radio shack sub with my current system.
