Strength:

great low end bass.
downfiring (at least for me)
cheap
as loud as I want it to be - easily

Weakness:

red sticker on top took an hour to scrape off carefully with a screwdriver.
35hz range (not an issue for me, but may be for others)

This subwoofer is very nice. As this was my first subwoofer (bought for HT purposes) I can't really compare to any others. However, I'm extremely satisfied with subwoofer - it really helps flesh out the sound.

On a side note, I never thought room placement would have such a huge difference in a subwoofer's sound! I had the subwoofer about 2 feet from the walls when I first got it, and then compared it to when it was next to a wall. The sound difference was huge! I would definitely recommend playing around with the subwoofer location within your room.
