This Sub woofer is THE BEST hands down. There is nothing to compare it to. The power and sound that comes from such a compact product is mind-blowing. You will be lucky to have the chance to experience the bass that is produced from this machine. These are hard to find and extremely expensive the retail was a little under 3000 they now sell for almost double that. I have been in the business going on 30 years and NOTHING - I mean NOTHING compares.

    Strength:

Killer bass in any format . THX Video or Hi-Fi. Tight bass and a LOT of it.

    Weakness:

No finish options . No remote, but who need one.

This sub is from Mackie's active studio monitor series. No furniture quality here just basic black . The money is inside this puppy. When the music maters and not the finish know one can out perform this one . I tried B&W - M&K - JM Labs - Kef and the list goes on. It's delicate and subtle and extreamly intense. It performs solidly at 20hz and has great definition below 80hz. It doesn't make a muddy mush of the signal like most subs do. And makes my albums and sacd'come alive.
