JBL Venue SUB12 Subwoofer Speaker Subwoofers

Venue SUB12 Subwoofer Speaker

The Venue Series SUB12 performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL’s Professional division. Equipped with JBL''s tried-and-true PolyPlas woofer, this Subwoofer delivers the low-frequency goods. Special effects in your favorite movies, assisted by the FreeFlow flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted Distortion or boominess. A powerful amplifier backs up the 12-inch woofer with high-output. LFE- and line-level inputs provide maximum connection flexibility. Convenient level and crossover-frequency controls and a phase Switch let you tailor the SUB12''s performance to your room''s acoustics or your taste. The Peak Dynamic Power is measured by Recording the highest center-to-peak voltage measured across the output of a resistive load equal to minimum impedance of the transducer, using a 50Hz sine wave burst, 3 cycles on, 17 cycles off. The SUB12 powered subwoofer is just the ticket to bring your Home Theater system to life.

I can't sit her and look at the review below. That is so inaccurate, i don't know where to go. First I have this subwoofer in my DJ SYSTEM. and it is a kick ass sub woofer. It isn't 100 watts. It 550 watts. It works down to 20 hz without causing the amp to stop working in my great house(My house wiring is from 1948). next it is a single coil subwoofer with a built in amp, which really is loud on the LFE in. Mine still works in prefect condition after owning it for 5 years. and if you like to hear every small thing in your house vibrate, then this is the sub for you. it dosen't creat kick, it's all reverb. Cons:1. The fuse is only 2 Amps, so roughly it can provide only 100W RMS, just like Polk PSW 10 or smaler 8``JBL
2.There is no radiator outside the amp, amp overheats more likely.
3 There is no internal bracing for such a big box u get the " box colour" sound.
4.The speaker has no double magnet.
5.The box is tuned to 32Hz, port is only 9.5 inches, can be up to 14``.
6. The amp stopped working, nad to replace.

This is how it suppose to be, my 300W IKon sub has: a fuse 4 amps (double as JBL), internal bracing, massive radiator outside, speaker w 3 massive magnets. I paid on sale $ 150 only.
SONY 12`` 150 w sub has a fuse 3 Amps , big radiator too.
Goods: maybe somebody likes distinctive JBL sound, like guitar speakers I can give a credit.
