Just got this sub for $199, at www.netmarket.com; itz a great deal. This Sub hits really hard, but the low deep bass that u feel isn't quite there. Itz very small and if u hide it in a room, itz hard to tell where the bass is coming from (which is good). This is a very good subwoofer for itz price range. 100 watts is plenty of power. I just wish subwoofer cables weren't so expensive. I went to Radio Shack and got $5 cables since it only produces mono sound. I had been looking for a subwoofer for a very very long time and this subwoofer at netmarket.com is by far the best deal I have ever seen.

I also got this subwoofer from www.netmarket.com and used their haggle zone to get the price down from $199 to $187, which saves you $12 on shipping. The total cost was about $210 delivered via UPS ground, and it took about a week from when I placed the order for it to show up on my doorsteps.
This 100W powered subwoofer does a good job, and there's a variable crossover control, and a volume control to balance the subwoofer with the rest of your speakers/system. It comes with sub-out input (requires a 1 female to 2 male RCA y-connector though), and hi-level speaker inputs. When it needs to pump out the bass, it does. I'm re-discovering my music CDs again, it's a better listening experience with a powered subwoofer. Couple this with my new DD 5.1 receiver, and a new Infinity CC-2 center channel, my DVD viewing experience has increased immeasurably! This has been a very inexpensive sound component upgrade that works.

If you're looking for a budget-minded powered subwoofer that has good bass response and don't want to spend $400 for it, this is the subwoofer for you.
If you want to spend $500 and upwards on a more powerful subwoofer (more than 100W of power), look elsewhere! :)

I also got this powered sub from www.netmarket.com for 199 plus 22 dollars shipping... you can't beat that price.. considering that pretty much everywhere else it sells for 399$.it is everything that I wanted and more.. it gets the deep bass without distortion and I like that you can adjust the power of it.. and the frequency range.. this powered sub mates perfectly with my infinity rs 2000.6's and my 2000.5's.
Now everything that I listen to has to be listened to again. and the the price you just can't beat I just have to find a place to put it

This subwoofer is incredible in both price and quality. For $190, I bought this from Netmarket, and believe it is worth much more. I can literally shake the walls with this thing. I don't think you could get a better sub for this price. (Unless of course you got it from the back of a truck)

I just got my BU-2 from U-Bid for the incredibly low price of $137.00. It was refurbished, but still came with a 5 year warranty. What a tremendous difference this sub made to my system. Absolutely great wall shaking sound. Every time a good action sequence comes on in a movie my wife yells "would you please turn that down!" Yes!!! I'm running Infinity R2000.5's in the front, and Infinity QPS-1's in the rear, and an Infinity CC-3 center channel is on order. The R2000.5's were a little light in the bottom, although the highs were crystal clear. The BU-2 was the perfect complement to the R2000.5's. By the way, I also got the R2000.5's from U-Bid (brand new!) for $97.00 each!!! The QPS-1's came from "The Sound Professionals" (www.soundpros.com), delivered to my door, brand new for $199.00. I give the BU-2 a "5 speaker" rating. Best $137.00 I ever spent. Tremendous value. Great "bang for the buck"!!!

price

Weakness:

can get you in trouble if you live in an apartment

excellent sub for the price

Aura 25-watt Bass Shaker
These are tactile transducers for home/auto use. They are each 4-ohms and resonate at lower frequencies.
I got them for $30.00 of the internet (www.ebay.com) and hooked them up off my line level sub output w/ a small amplifier.
I attached them to the inside frame of my couch. MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!
Now my sub rocks the house. When properly balanced w/ the sub I can't tell the vibrations are independent
from the sub. Action movies are much more realistic and enveloping. These are the least expensive and most signifigant
addition to my home theater. I highly reccomend spending the minimal amount of money for the experience. I'm sure there
are more expensive transducers out there, but for cheap thrills you can't beat them!
