    Strength:

Lots of bass, powerful true 200 watt amplifier. Nice looking woofers.

    Weakness:

Tends to color the sound of music. But i think its mainly because its location in the listening room

This subwoofer is much better than others presented by Cerwin-Vega. I think the RL Series were a serious intent of this brand to make decent sounding speakers. This sub is capable of producing high amounts of articulate bass, not very boomy. It has a pair of high-efficiency 8" woofers that work like if you had a 15". Its desing saves space and increases WAF. In fact, WAF was the fundamental reason that made me pick this sub instead a PSB Subsonic 6. With music you have to low the volume because it tends to color the sound. In movies it gives you a real illusion in explosions and you actually get scared with the effects, like the scene in Resident Evil Apocalypse when a Van crashes the cientific's daughter car.
