Strength:

Very good loud subwoofer for the price you pay.

Weakness:

A buzzing sound is comming from the back of the subwoofer when you pass the half way. I had several subwoofer before like JBL, DBOX and I never had this problem.

You want to party... no problem... it will drive you through it! Really good for Digital 5.1 sound.

Strength:

power for the price only if you can get it around $300 otherwise its not worth it

Weakness:

humming from the air passing between the amp and the enclosure

I just bought it today and was very disappointed by the humming noise coming from the back. After exchanging for a different one the humming wasn't as bad but it was still there. I'm thinking maybe some damping screwed between the amp and the enclosure might eliminate that. I've noticed at peak levels it gets a little muddy, but i guess that's to be expected from a sub of this performance level. I ran a few sine waves through it and found it has a very steep dropoff at around 30-35 hz which will be good should i decide down the road to get an 18" with crossover at around that point. It does effectively rattle windows and buzz furniture as it should, however my tone tests showed it to be not the most balanced, but again thats to be expected considering what i payed. i guess this sub is alright if you want those home theater rumbles, but it's not a musician's dream. I've got little money to spend and this is the lowest and flattest frequency response i can get, but if that sorta thing is as important to you as it is to me as a composer, then pouring more money into a better sub over $1k would be the better road. They really shouldn't call it a subwoofer in the lower price ranges anyway.
