This new compact active subwoofer supplements and supports small stereo speakers (such as Plus XS) with particularly impressive bass reproduction. Ideal for home cinema systems. The radiated frequency range is restricted to frequencies below about 150 Hz. The human ear cannot localise low bass frequency sounds, therefore the positioning of the subwoofer is uncritical. Like all other active subwoofers from Canton, the AS 20 operates with specially developed SC bass equalization which suppresses subsonic (not audible) vibrations giving low bass frequencies thrust and strength. This is bass reproduction which gets under your skin.
