I don't know why these speakers don't get more good reviews. They are awesome value - clear treble, warm mids, and a slightly boomy bass that you can listen to for hours.
Bi-amped you can use the bass speakers as a built in sub woofer and control the boom box aspect entirely. Better sounding than speakers twice the price when I auditioned them at the shop (I paid $800).
You need decent amplification power or they can sound a little brittle.

Strength:

see above
Power and Sound Quality cant be beaten for price

Weakness:

Large very large dont be fooled buy the picture these things are BIG
Tacky lookin driver cones, not enuogh contrast between cabinet and drivers

Im not an audiophile or anythig but i like my music to be full and engrossing with good clear sound quality and low clear, tight bass.
I found these speakers to be a good all round performer the treble is sharp, clear and defined if not a little overpowering at high volume (not a bad thing rather too much than too little EQ tweak)
The mids also sound good vocals are true and sharp and they reproduce lifelike sound compaired to the speakers they are replacing(a good 10yrs old)

Ahh the bass, Now I like my bass phat and low im a bass freak! Now i was looking at the specs for these speakers and i thought with these having four 8" bass drivers between them and a 30hz frequency responce the bass would be awsome and they would move huge air, Unforuntaly I was disappointed I doubt they'll hit 30hz i had to put a fair bit of power through them before they produced a decent amount of bass, The bass is not bad it's tight and clear but they don't hit the lows for me unless at neigbour destroyingly loud levels but saying that im only putting 100w Rms throught them not even 1/2 the 250w Rms rated if they'll take that much power ? But saying all this the bass does shake the house, floor, doors, windows etc but just doesn't do justice to the low lows in my opinion thats why i got my Sub.
All in all a good powerfull well defined rich sound despite the cheap tacky looks keep the grills.
Hooked these speakers up to a Sony STR-DG710, Creative X-fi Xtreme Gamer, Velodyne CHT-10R with a optical cable and cheapish Qed speaker cable and some old aiwa surround and centre soon for upgrade too.

I did go to my local hi-fi shop an enquire about speakers around the same price the only things they could offer were some small 5" bookshelf missions 2nd hand for £130, I demo'ed them and decided against i wanted somthing a bit larger.
was well impressed with these when they arrived totaly destroyed the 2nd £130 Missions great buy.

Strength:

TERRIFIC BASS & TREBLE BALANCE
SOUND QUALITY IS EQUIVALENT TO HIGH END STUFF AT A TENTH THE PRICE...

Weakness:

THEY ARE A BIT BULKY

IF YOU WANT TO TURN YOUR ROOM INTO A NIGHTCLUB..THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU.... UNBELIEVABLE CLARITY AND BASS EVEN AT HIGH VOLUMES... IVE HOOKED THESE UP WITH AN ONKYO HTR 550 AV RECIEVER.. AND THEY SOUND BETTER THAN A 5000$ A PAIR SPEAKER SYSTEM...
