Like it or hate it! I mostly liten to classical music.and was surprised by the speaker's soundstage when it was driven by a Bayston 4BST in a dealer's show room. The instruments were exactly at their places and kept their positions even on big scale performance like the orchestra playing a symphony. I also liked the detailed information about the music from them. After I purchased a pair and brought them home with the Bayston 4BST, I really enjoy it. But I found that half of my CD has recording fault here or there. I verify the faults with my old setup, they are there, too. Come on! how come I have never heard of it before! The problem usally is when the Cello is playing a deep low notes, there is kind of resonace at about 400 hz or so. One concern about the speaker is that they are too detailed, and also sounds a little bit hard on the mid-high range, proberbly some resornace peak ( maybe it is the reason of my finding the CD's faults). For its dynamic range, detailed, soundstage, I will give it 5 stars. For the balance and sweetness, I give it 4 stars.

I guess my first post is missing somewhere.I was surprised by the speakers soundstage when it is driven by a Byston 4BST in a dealer's show room. The instrument was exactly at its place and the bass energy was amazing if you consider the small size of the speaker. The sound image is very stable even on the big scale performance like a orchestra's playing of Beethoven's 9th symphony. Also I liked the detail informaiton of the music going out from the speakers. After I brought home a pair of it and drove them with the same Amp., the Bayston 4BST, I really enjoy it. But I have a problem now, I find out that half of my old CDs has faults here or there, which I have never noticed with my old cheap setup. I try the CD with problems in the old cheape setup again, they are their this time! Come on! how come I haven't heard of them before! I also find out that the sound is a bit hard at the mid-high range, proberbly couple resonance peaks are presented at about 2K-4K range from the tweeter. It maybe the reason of the faults in the CDs are so noticible. ( mostly are the resonance at about 600 hz when the Cello and Base are play a very low chors ). My system is Marantz CD17 + Conterpoint Solid 8A + Bryston 4BST with this speaker. For the soundstage, dynamic range, power, sonic detail, I will give a 5 stars to this small monitor, for sweetness, balance I give it a 4 star.
BTY, I mostly listen to Classical Music.
