Strength:

I own a pair of Ferrari red 6311s, they are superb, I've settled on a powerful pioneer amp, sa-910, and a Rega planer 2 deck, and it sounds incredible. if you're considering buying these doit you'll be impressed.

Weakness:

They angle back so take up room, other than that, faultless

I would like to know where you can get these "NEW" for $700? You say you got Them for $900 new so if you can get them for $700 why didn't you? I sincerely,
doubt this is possible. If so what is shipping cost from China? $500 or more?

Casual Listener

Have owned a pair of Boston Acoustics VR-M50 bookshelf speakers that served me well for 10 years. Recently acquired a Denon POA-5200 AMP, but it was a bit too much for the BA book shelf speakers, so my search began for new speakers. I am a casual listener, but like good quality sound without spending a fortune. I came across the Usher brand while researching speakers online, and each time three words become synonymous, quality, great sound and affordability. The speakers are hard to find but I was able to acquire a pair brand new for $900 shipped freight. The speakers arrived double boxed and well packaged from the factory. The speakers are extremely heavy, weighing about 60 plus pounds each. The fit and finish are superb and they look amazing. Now there is a knock on these speakers. It seems they are designed and manufactured in China, but the box said Taiwan. Subtle difference I guess. Because of this there have been worries about the quality of the workmanship and technology, as well the speaker holding it's resale value. Since it's launch and original shipping price of $2100 the speakers can be found anywhere from the retail price of $2100 to as low as $700 brand new. This is good and bad. Good if you want a great deal on quality, great sounding speakers. Bad if you pay full retail and flip speakers every couple years. Sound is subjective so I will not get into the details only to say the speakers sound wonderful for all types of music. Great sound-stage, very detailed, and excellent bass response. The speakers sound neither too warm or harsh. For certain music my BA had the tendency to pierce my ears on certain songs. These speakers have nice tonal balance. In summary, if you are looking for speakers with a great price point, look more expensive than they are, and sound great you can;t go wrong with the Usher CP-6311.

Strength:

Clear and nice sound
High detail resolution
Beautiful design

Weakness:

Hard to find a retailer...

I was at a hifi-show - where I simply did fall in love with these speakers.
They provide is a very enjoyable sound with a good deal of detail resolution, strong ability to handle aggressive rhythm and pace, excellent
sound staging, and a very fluid midrange. On top of
that they are not made form unobtanium or
cantaffordium. They can be a great ally in your quest
to enjoy just about any type of music.

Strength:

bass response, imaging, great tall and wide soundstage

Weakness:

heavy to lift and position, especially when loaded with lead shot

What a great speaker! Awesome build quality, beautiful appearance (in piano black finish) and fantastic sound quality comparable to speakers at twice the price. This speaker combines great bass response (very warm and real sounding, but not bloated) with excellent transparency and sound "free from the box". Imaging is outstanding and the sound detaches from the speakers. There is an exciting quality about these speakers that makes listening addictive.
