I have a pair of sansui sp-x7700 speaker and they rock hardcore they are 4 way 5 speaker and have 15 inch vented woffer. They are the best sounding speakers I have ever heard by a long shot even thought they are old, But I dont know how old.

. I own a pair of Sansui SF-2 Floorstanding Surround Field speakers and though U have not used them for surround as intended, I have used them as front speakers and they sound great. They have clear midrange, detailed highs, and tight bass (but the bass could be louder). The downsides are that the speaker had to be wired "backwards" to be used as a front (i.e. + to - , - to +), and it is absoulutely HUGE for a rear surround speaker as it has two 8" woofers and a 1.5" tweeter. The enclosure is about 14w x 14d x 32h. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who can find a pair, but since they havwe not been made since the early '80s and their high price ($800 each in 1982)it is a little hard to find any.

I have my grandmothers old Sansui G-4700, which she bought in the eirly eighties. I would just like to say that it puts out more power than most of the 'fancy' stereos my buddies have, i hooked up a pair of 15inch subwoofers, when i turn it up on level 3 my doors shake and pictures have fallen off of the walls. Any one who can get their hands on one should! no wonder it says pure power on it

I have a 1975 Sansui 8080 receiver and SP5500X speakers. Just curious how much these would be worth today. Everything is in excellent condition.

I have a old Sansui G-6000 Pure Power DC stereo receiver. This monster can humiliate and put to shame of all these new fandangled receivers like Kenwood, Pioneer, Onkyo and more. This machine has a rockin' 300watts RMS at 8 ohms to four channels and 600watts RMS at 4 ohms with only 0.03% distortion. And the BASS from this goes all the way down to "0" or DC wave. And the treble can be Bright like analogue music was supposed to be, not brassy-like new digital receivers are. I loved to find Another unit like this one

I have a sansui made in 1980 and I have worked for Sansui for 14 Years. This Receiver Blows away any thing I have heard or seen. My son just got a New Pioneer reciever with 225 watts and it couldn't compare to the first notch on My 525 watt sansui receiver. I have Two ultra low 18.5 subs. With Awsome Midrange it is so low I had to redo the Drywall taping because it Just F@#$ing Rocks.

I bought a mint Sansui Reciever and it works well. Model no. AU-999, 370 watts. I was wondering the year of this reciever and any background information like its worth in its prime and its worth today. It blows away any other rcieiver I have ever owned in terms of its variable generation of sound.
