Save your money. Instead of buying a Revel, made by Harman, audition a JBL TiK series speaker. Both are made by the same company, both are made in the same factory, both use the same drivers, both are tested in the same labs. The JBLs were designed after the Revels, so maybe their designers had more experience and knowledge when designing them. Forget the fancy woods and cosmetics of the Revels, the JBL TI10KBE is amazing. You can get the JBLs for much less than the Revels.

Strength:

Everything

Weakness:

Nothing

Everything about this speaker is right. I am running my system with a pair of Linn Klimax's whick help bring out the best in the Salons. Bass impact is the best I have heard, better than the best subs. Imaging is top notch. If I sit and listen, eyes closed, I swear there are no speakers, just music. Volume levels can reach obscene levels with crystal clarity. If you are thinking about a speaker purchase AT ANY PRICE. Audition the Salons. If you don't think you are listening to the best speaker in the world, hook them up to a pair of Klimaxs. You will agree, nothing compares.
