Strength:

Superb bass, transparent mid-range, and amazing ability to reproduce female vocals with a presence and clarity I've heard from only a few speakers such as the Spcia Angelus. These speakers image well and reproduce music and voice with a very enticing lushness that is never smeared or less than crystal clear. There is no need for a subwoofer unless you have some weird type of bass fetish.

Weakness:

Presentation is a bit on the cool side; not the last word on imaging though they are very good in this respect. Audio Physics image better. Requires a lot of clean power - i previously ran them on a Belles 150 W/ch amp, however, they didn't really sing until i hooked them to a 250 W/ch AudioVanAlstine hybrid tube amp. Once broken in, this is an awesome amp that simply makes the babies put out wonderul, gorgeous sound.

This is a superb nearly full-range speaker that has to have one of the best performance to cost ratios anywhere. This speaker is in my top three of all time along with the Spica Angelus and Audio Physic Virgo speakers. I can't say enough positive about them and the way that they put forth an emotionally involving, lively (though a bit cool) sound. Hell, my DAC (upgraded 96/24 Counterpoint) cost more than these speakers. Highly recommended. I listen to lots of jazz and new age, some rock, and synthesized music. These speakers have a signficant "goose bump" factor to them.
