Strength:

Wonderfully smooth detailed highs, solid bass, good imaging.

Weakness:

None

I didn't realize what I was missing with the CSW Ensemble. They are not bad speakers for the money but if you really "listen" to music and know what the various musical instruments sound like - move up. I am truly amazed at the difference. In a relatively small room (14' x 15') I have few placement options for speakers. Well these things image beautifully where ever they are. I also auditioned Totem Arro's, B&W, Def Tech, Wharfdale, Thiel and KEF's. I don't remember all of the models but all were in the $1200 to $2000 range. None even came close in my opinion to the Studio 60's in accuracy, imaging and bass response. I also have a Sunfire Sub which fills in the lowest octave on pipe organ music. If you are not into pipe organ music though, it wouldn't be missed. As far a break-in goes, they sounded great right out of the box. I love em.
