I heard these speakers today in a dealer's showroom driven alternately by an all-Conrad Johnson setup, and some boutique brand of solid-state gear I didn't catch the name of. Wire was Purist Audio.
These are very competent monitor speakers! Well-rounded tonality, not too bright on the top end (true even with the solid-state gear), perhaps a bit lean in the mid to upper bass. Horizontal and vertical dispersion were excellent. Soundstage was expansive, though not the best I've heard. Build quality was excellent. The speakers cannot be bi-wired (boo!)

This is a relatively new and unknown speaker company that looks like it has a real future. I think these stand-mounts should be auditioned if you're in the market for expensive monitor speakers, but I still prefer the overall sophistication of the Dynaudio 1.3's and Proac 1SC's compared to the Ovations. Nonetheless, better than average in this market segment for Nova.
