great center channel, sound is clean and crisp and handles lows/mids/highs w/ ease even when powered up, not cheap but still a great choice.

Great center. Sounds awesome for dialogue. This speaker's very musical as well - I sometimes run 5-channel stereo and it sounds great! Mine's paired with OM-8 fronts and OM-R2 rears.

I recently purchased the FRX-7s and got the FRX-C for the center channel. All I can say is that to call the FRX-C matched the the FRX-7s is abald-faced lie. Center-Front dialog transitions were obvious in their tonal shift. Dialog sounded hollow and artificial. An audiophile friend went back
with me to Tweeter and agreed the the OM-C3 was a far better speaker and matched much more closely, altough a tad sharper sounding (different
tweeter). Well worth the $100 increase. Two bad the finish is a vinyl laminate...

I recently purchased this fantastic center to accompany my Mirage M-90's in the front. I am amazed at the amount of dialogue I have been missing from movies! This speaker deliver's beautiful highs and deep low's. Dialogue has never sounded better, and the on-screen action is tremendous. I would highly recommed this speaker to anyone that has any Mirage OM series speaker. Because of the pure titanium tweeter, it might be a little brighter and clearer than anything in the FR-x line, but this speaker is definatly worth the money.

Excellent speaker for home theater. It's paired with Rogers main speakers and Mirage rear speakers OM-R2, and amplified by a Yamaha 2095. Delicious!

Strength:

Clear and Crisp, tight response, nice and bright

Weakness:

None,really

I find this center to be much better than that of the FRXC.
Irecently traded up to the OM10,OMC3 and the OMR2 from the frx7,frxc and frxrears, and all i can say is "oh my god, what a difference!" Bright and clean, does that say enough? TAKE A LISTEN FOR YOURSELF!

Strength:

musical, quality center channel speaker

Weakness:

appearance, not omnipolar

This is a very competent speaker, well matched to the OM line of speakers...I own the OM-8s as mains. The dynamic range of the OM-C3 is excellent for a two way speaker; the bass response is excellent. Use of the mirage PTH tweeter enusures full range highs. Dialogue is clear and the speaker does a good job of resolving complex material. I occaisionally play music in 5-channel stereo mode; here the speaker really shines. Vocals especially are well done. Two problems with this speaker: 1) appearance...this is a laminate that just doesn't look as good as the OM-8s...I understand not using gloss finish on a center, but why not something better? 2) I occaisionally want a bigger soundstage from the speaker; I think this has to do with it being a forward firing speaker. Too bad my system can't accomodate the OM-C2, the C3's bigger and omnipolar brother.
