Strength:

Full range and musical and im talking about a center channel! Also like the use of bi-wireable posts on back for future upgrades; well thought out Mirage.

Weakness:

Big some 24 inches wide and 11 inhes deep kinda makes my amps look smaller if you can believe that!I dont consider this a weakness as ive got a Pioneer 730 hdmi 64 inch monitor, but thought Id add it in,as it is BIG.

I believe the post below says it best, Ive got mine powered by Plinius,es new P-8 highly biased class Aab amplifier, using a splitter out of my processor and taking off the supplied jumpers opening up the sound ; formerly using Adcoms GFA7000 five channel amp. also a good value but not near the overall musicality of the plinius, that being said this center with its two big 6 1/2 inch front drivers and that classic titanium hybrid tweeter and dual 1+ inch ports make this one sweet sounding center in my home theatre with full range response keeping pace with my OM6s and theyre Plinus SA 102 dual 460 watt monoblocks in pure class A, WOW WHAT A SOUND ,this speaker absolutly loves a higher pedigree of equipment but also sounded good with my adcom products. If anyone out theyre finds this on the used market and one wants a highly detailed full range centerchannel with great tonality, warm mids and clear dialog then this ones for you.Product just keeps getting better with upgrades in equipment I believe they refer to this in scribes as "references"? also using transparent plus bi-cable at about 700 dollars for single run and transparent ultra interconnects with splitter off single run; great sound. I really dont think ill ever part with the system ive assembled today, and Ive listened to alot!!! Chow Tim W.

Strength:

everything mentioned above plus beautiful black piano gloss finish.

Weakness:

big, heavy s%b, nearly 30 lbs. not easy to place atop a tv, will probably have to wall mount it when my new digital philips 32" gets here.

have not heard a cc speaker at any price (this speaker listed for $450. in the late 90's) that can articulate complex passages, has the dynamic capability and bass, without obscuring ANY nuance of the vocals, as well as this one. absolutely blows away the b&w 600ifs and b&w lcr60-s3 (which is a really great cc as well, but no match).

i''ve lived with this one for 4 years and since the first day it has provend a workhorse. It works great with everything that you play, music or movies, it dosen''t matter, the sound is outstanding and the MC-2 has plenty of bass.
