Designed for easy and discreet speaker placement, can be painted, handles mids and treble well.

Lacks in the low range, really needs Linn Brakits for bass support.

I use these speakers as rears in my homecinema setup. I use a pair of Linn Ninka as front speakers and a QLN 600 center. The 5110:s performes excellent after some adjustments of the speaker placement (now 1,8 m/6 feet up) and the EQ of my receiver. The 5110:s is not perfectly matched to the Ninkas (it was originally meant to be rears in a 5140 setup, hence the product name 5110) but that can be fixed by adjusting the treble and mids on the receiver. Out of the box, the center speaker is actually better matched to the Ninkas than the 5110:s...(probably better matched than the Linn Centrik also)
But the 5110:s do a credible job as rear speakers, but I don't think that I would consider them as front speakers for listening to music. There are better choices in this pricerange. But as rears and/or fronts in a homecinema setup, supported by a subwoofer, they are a great choice!
