Strength:

Pleasant at low to moderate levels. Better bass response than the Legacy Studios.

Weakness:

Overpriced relative to other Legacy Audio speakers. Far less bass extension than the Classics.

This speaker replaced the far superior "Victoria" model in Legacy's product line. They discontinued it after a couple of years because it wasn't selling well. Why? Because while the Accent wasn't a bad speaker, it was only about half as much speaker as the Legacy Classic, at 3/4 the price. If you can pick up a pair for under $1,000 it's not a bad option but there are other choices that offer more.

Strength:

Great looking, tight sound, great in THX system

Weakness:

none in the price range

was going to buy the classics, luckilly I was able to borrow a pair to try at home and the whole family fell in love with them. We like the slim tower look. Had to upgrade my amp , went from Yamaha integrated to Denon 8300 THX with 200 per side at 4 ohms. made a huge difference. the Dennon is a little base heavy which the speakers like.Mid and upper is great and the rear facing tweeter gives them great imaging. From a marketing standpoint Legacy probably priced it a little to close to the classic but that only means the classic is really underpriced. When I switch to other speakers in the house I'm constantly impressed every time I turn them on. They love to play the Blues.
