Strength:

Beautiful, natural sound. Exibits pure quality in sound and workmanship. Heavy...yes...HEAVY....but I've never heard quality sound coming out of a cheap, lightweight!!

Weakness:

None....I only wish that I had made the purchase 5 years ago.

As Marc stated below, the center channel is the most important speaker in a home theater set up. I did not realize how important a quality center channel speaker is until hearing a demo with the C-7 at our local audio store. Voices are natural sounding,...... instrumental music, particularly horns, are crystal clear,..... stringed instruments sound "live". The C-7 is definitely all "5's" and would be "10's" if allowed to score that high!

Strength:

Movie Theater sound quality!!

Weakness:

Bare none, the best center channel for the $$$. I have even listened to some center channels with built in subwoofers and they don't come close to the sound of this center speaker.

Run out and get one before they are discontinued due to slow sales.

Strength:

I have a great home theater set up with the klf-20s. I was using a infinity center channel speaker for about 2 years. It never sounded right. I blamed it all on my marantz receiver. I then purchased the klf-7 center speaker. Wow did this make a huge diference. It sounded like I got a whole new speaker system. I highly reccomend this speaker if you got the room, It is at least 3 times the size of the infinity. If you have klipsch klf-20s or 30s this speaker is a must.

My complete review is under strengths.

Strength:

Very Efficient. Uncolored sound. Quality genuine veneer oak finish.

Weakness:

Its large size may be difficult for some to place. If you have a RPTV, you'll have no problem.

Probably the best sounding center there is for under $1500. Klipsh is not known for their fidelity, but this speaker does its job perfectly. I'm not sure why it only goes down to 75hz. Maybe it has something to do with crossover component selection and this is where the unit gets its "UN-KLIPSCH"-like sound. If you have efficient Klipsch mains, this is the speaker for you. At full price it would still a good value. I would like to hear my system with KLF-C7 at all 7 positions of my system.

I replaced a KV1 center with the C7. WOW! I have KG5.2s up front, KG4.2s for rear surrounds and the SW12 sub. The KV1 was overwhelmed in this setup. The C7 evened out the soundstage. Voices are reproduced with unbelieveable clarity. I even had to bring the center channel back 1db. I listened to many a center channel before my purchase and the only complaint I have is the price. Damn near what I paid for one of my 5.2s! Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat! I am starting to listen to Music/Concert DVDs. This is the only speaker I found that was up to job. Way to go Klipsch!

I've had my KLF-C7 for a couple of months now. It sounds awesome--buy it.
I'm running the following:

Yamaha RX-V2095 Reciever/Amp/DTS Decoder
Klipsch KLF-30 Main & Rear speakers
Klipsch KSW-300 Subwoofer

I've found it to be extremely well balanced and I would have to disagree--I've not heard voices sound "harsh or tubby". I generally listen to Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS DVD's though. I have found the KLF-C7 to be the perfect match for my setup. If you have Klipsch Legend series speakers I know you won't be disappointed with this center channel! **Wonders if I can give this center 10 stars??**
