Amazing! For just a 6.5 inch speaker they hit the lows. the highs are great(horn loaded), overall a very well-rounded speaker.
I see no use for a sub. I like my bass, but these put out plenty. I've rattled my windows and walls with these.
GET A GOOD RECEIVER!!!! Invest! you will see a difference in all your speakers.
I currently have them hooked up to my DENON 589 with 75w/ch, 110 dynamic. good juice for any speaker. although DENON is great all around, these towers put out. Great set, no disappointment at all! and they're sexy!
I've had them cranked them to -5db! plenty loud, no distortion. They are clean! get them while you can. I paid just under $400 for the pair, well worth it! Good deal! Klipsch speakers without a doubt are great speakers! I prefer Paradigm but for the money these cannot be beat! I have become a strong Klipsch fan.

Klipsch, Paradigm, Energy, Polk audio are my faves at the moment(I'm sticking Canadian as much i can)

Strength:

I have to say the highs are so sweet, so detailed. You can hear every pluck and slide of the guitar strings. Sweet spot is widened due to the horn I believe. Vocals are very detailed and neutral, not coloured at all.
I have a small living 5 x 3 metres, and the bass comes in huge handfulls, just play Timeless by Goldie and these hit the real low notes at any volume. In fact some times too much in my small living, I have to tame them a little. F-2 would have been too overpowering.

I am upgrading my amp to a Carver TFM series soon, as I'm only playing the Klipsch through an old Kenwood multi system (total waste on the speakers I know) but I still get a great sound. Quite surprising really.

I listened to a pair of Paradigm floorstanders worth 2000 USD with a NAD class A power amp the other day and I still preferred my Klipsch. Each to their own.

I'm giving a 5 star due to the sweet sound they produce, despite the fact that the baffles are not so good and mids leave room for a little improvement (but this could be due to a larger extent my inferior Kenwood system), so listen with your own amp.

Weakness:

I owned a pair of Acoustic Energy AE109 with a Rotel amp some years ago and the mids were a little punchier, also on the Mission speakers but overall you can't go wrong with the Klipsch.

The weakest part are the front baffles. Really flimsy and they don't attach very well. They need to improve the fixtures here. I've heard this from many people.

This is just a wonderful speaker for the money. A real gem IMHO. I listened to a wide variety of speakers, Athena, Paradigm, Energy etc but these caught my attention. They revitalized my music collection. They excel with live acoustic recordings such as Unplugged albums. Just try some Shakira or Alice in Chains Unplugged. I thought I'd never listen to the Sinead O'Connor cd I bought. Once played through these Klipsch her sweet voice really shined through.

I recommend these without hesitation but as always listen to them first, everyone has different tastes. Take your own music and take your time in the demo room if you can.

Give them plenty of break in, when they come out of the box they don't sound too good. They really open up after a few days. At least 50 hours, if not more.

Customer Service

Very good. I contacted them asking for the crossover frequency in case I decide to biamp them with an electronic crossover. Response was within 48 hours and it was informative, polite and detailed.

Strength:
