Strength:

Built like battle ship or made to last and sound awesome for there size.

I just want to take a second and say these speakers are really built very well as others have stated in the other reviews. I also took the advise of the others and bought a good equalizer and set by speakers up with a decimal meter and my system sounds just awesome and the speakers lack nothing. I also want to say thank you to those who took the time gave every advice in how to set up the speakers and my sound system and hope you continue to help other in the future. I and would also give the speakers 6 stars if I could and those who gave the advice 10 stars. Thanks so much!

Strength:

They are really well made and really awesome.

I believe these are excellent speakers for there size and I also noticed some in reading other peoples reviews here. I have always used an equalizer in my audio equipment because if set up perfect you always get the best of your audio or home theather system and sound reproduction. Those who have an equalizer below like my self rate them 5 stars or state of the art. But those who don't have an equalizer or bought there speakers second hand think they need bass but if they set them up the way any fine audio system should with a good equalizer they would realize that are perfect and need nothing. These speakers are built to last forever and don't take the back seat to any speaker made it size and are art state of the art if set up right. Next thing is try and find these speakers they are hard to get Why? Because any one that did buy them and set them up the way they should be they would never part with them they are down right awesome.

Strength:

Great soond in such a small package and very well built!

These speakers are really awesome for the size. I have listened to allot of speakers in this size range and I have never heard any that sound as good as these KLH V-2 Plus speakers. If set up properly with an equalizer they are just state of the art at no matter what sound level they are played at, even for many hours at a time. The big problem I see with most people purchasing speaker is no set of speakers is set up for the persons home environment. Every set of speakers need to be set up with a decimal meter and a cd graphic calibration disc to get the true feeling of state of the art music. Plus it doesn't make any difference what kind of Stereo or Home AV equipment you have, it will make a major change to improve the complete overall sound quality. With or without the equalizer these KLH speakers are awesome for just about any purpose!

Strength:

Price. Nice brite sound. Buy 4 and use them as your surrounds, too.

Weakness:

No Bass. Definitely need a subwoofer. (Try the budget-priced KLH ASW10120 SUB)
sub

For the price, these things are awesome. To my ears, they sound better than many $300 plus speakers, and with the sub - you could spend over $500 easily and not get the same quality.

Similar Products Used:

Nothing similar. A lot of high-end stuff, and some junk over the years, but nothing comparable. Low end Infinity and Polk are similar, but sound much better.

I purchased a pairs of these KLH V-02 speakers for my exercise room to use as surround or rear speakers with two pairs of AV55B speakers and the only thing I have to say is they are awesome! These small set of KLH V-02's pact a real big sound for such small speakers and the quality is excellent. The highs, mid range and lows are unbelievable for the size of these speakers, Plus they take up to 100 watts, but only need 5 watts to light them off and then your in for a treat of your life!
Thanks KLH keep up the good work!

Strength:

excellent highs

Weakness:

bass? what bass?

KLH Video series speakers. Probably among the best speakers KLH makes for cheap small home theaters for cheap guys like myself. Very sturdy construction, heavy. 4" poly woofer that should be called a midrange instead. Absolutly no bass whatsoever, believe me! IF you don't have a sub, than don't bother getting a pair of these. Once you get a sub though they will sound excellent.
The only major drawback is that they can't handle much power. Even though they handle 100 watts, your likely to damage the 4" woofer before you get there. Very easy to get the "pop" out of the woofer if your not careful.
But for $19/pair at auction, I'm not complaining.
