very good speakers, the best i ever had. the combination of design and sound is super. i have also an subwoofer from Celestion. This combinayion is also perfect. i heard this combination in an studio from een musicstore. the dolby surroundreceiver is from Denon, the subwoofer from Celestion en the speakers from Jamo art and Jamo artina for the back and the tv from JVC. I saw and heard this set completely and i found this the best set i ever heard. this was the sound that i was seeking for several years.(my excuse for my bad english. I just purchased these speakers for use in my home theater system after the long drawn out fight with my wife over speaker appearences. These are the first reasonably thin wall mount speakers that I have ever heard with a reasonable sound. Unlike the Infinity flat speakers, these have a reasonable amount of bass. Nevertheless, any serious listener will want to mate these speakers with a subwoofer as the 5 1/2" woofer is more suited to midrange. These speakers are quite neutral in their tonal range, unlike most speakers in this price range which tend to be overly bright in the treble. I would recommend them highly to anyone who needs to consider appearence and placement in designing a listening system.

Strength:

Cear articulate mid range. Smooth treble.

Weakness:

Bass somewhat shy.

I bought these for the same reason anyone would buy a flat panel speaker:ergonomics! The room I had to use these speakers in dictated they had to be virtually invisible. I have been pleasantly surprised buy the level of performance these speakers deliver. They play louder than you would expect, with good detailed mid range and smooth high frequency reproduction. Everything they do is surprisingly good, although the bass reprodution is passable it is no substitute for well designed full range speaker. I happen to have several,KEF,PSB LEGACY,and Paradigm. These speakers are excellent background speakers and are not fatiguing. Where space is limited these speakers are more than adequate. Measured against full range,a three star rating. Against other small speakers a four star rating. Jamo is a good designer of modest stuff.
