Jamo's Apollo system is great.I love the quality of the suond that the system produce.
The active subwoofer is very good, those powered subwoofers I
heard which come colse to the quality of Jamo's sub are much more expensive.
I was amazed by the quality of the sattellites, they small and yet so powerfull!
I recommend this system to those who are searching for the great sound for a
low price.
Two thumbs up ! - I give five !

Strength:

Transparent soundfield and tight deep bass for a very resonable price!

Weakness:

A bit flat sound at low volumes and a little too much treble at higher volumes.

I just fell in love with this surround-system at first "sight"! Before I had listened to this system I was convinced that my next system would be a pair of hifi speakers, like the AudioPro Live A2.42 with small surround speakers. But this changed when I listened to the Jamo Apollo package! The sound was transparent and then when I realized that it was actually good at playing normal music too... Well, I brought the package home with me!

Okey, if your main purpose is listening to music with a well trained ear - this is nothing for you! But when it comes to movies they're just great! And they sound good when listening to normal music at any volume, but they're NOT partyspeakers (although, the subwoofer can make your walls rumble).

The system consists of 5 sattelites, each with a metal-piece for wallmounting or horizontal positioning. They do sound a little flat when listening to music at lower volumes, and the treble gets a little too sharp at higher volumes - but it's really nothing I think of often. I don't mind the plastic finish because it matches my TV-set perfectly. The small size makes them easy to hide and they fit into the smallest spaces! You get one 100Hz highpass filter for the front speakers (use it, it makes difference!). I have just one thing that I didn't like with the sattelites - the wallmounts don't allow you to turn the speaker more than 45 degrees from the center.

The subwoofer (SW 410E) is solid and produces very clean and controlled bass with enough power to irritate the neighbours. I had a hard time adjusting it for my livingroom (weird walls), but after a few tries it really FEELS great!

It's a great buy! I'm very pleased with the quality and the detail of the sound. The subwoofer is perfectly matched for the system, just make sure you have it correctly adjusted.

I highly recommend this package for anyone who wants "invisible" speakers with a impressive sound for a resonable price. It's mainly intended for movies, but they do a great job playing music as well!

Strength:

Crisp highs and mids. Thundering low end.

Weakness:

None

Plain and simple, this set is amazing. There is no better deal out there right now. It brings movies to a whole new level and music quality is excellent as well. The set is very well constructed for the price and the included mounting brackets are a plus. I got mine from SoundPros for $550, shipping included.
