Strength:

Impressive looking

Weakness:

Overpriced for the sound

A run of the mill speaker with a high price tag. the 1 band eq does little more than make he speaker more or less boomy.A great speaker for Home theather, but music fans might want to look elsewhere. I got mine cheap because they were scratched up pretty bad. Well 1,000 us dollars for this speaker was not cheap, but at a list price of 2500, that ain't too bad.

Strength:

Very well balanced open sound stage. Mids and highs are excellent, slightly warm. Tight deep bass when optimized for room.

Weakness:

Heavy and pricey

These are excellent sounding speakers but require experimenting with positioning and must optimized the bass for the room with the speakers built in bass equalizer. The comments by Jaele T. below surprise me and I suspect he has not actually used these speakers as he states price paid as $8900 when the list price for these speakers is $1499 each. The bass is so deep and powerful that it could sound sloppy if not optimized for the room. Bass is very room dependent. It is easy to equalize the bass on these speakers and infinity sells a kit to do it but it is possible to do it without the kit and instructions are supplied with the speaker.

Strength:

Looks...

Weakness:

Sound... hard, unatural and to bright...

After spending half a year with these speakers I will sell them to my parents-in-law. They are just too bright and tiresome for music auditions...

Strength:

after room placement is done, feet or spikes are placed and you follow the set-up for base room-tune a happy tear will
follow from your eye as these speakers are mindblowing!!!!!!

Weakness:

big, takes up alot of space in room, weights alot, your spouse
will say they take up whole room
If you read the directions do what they say right or get
the tune equipment after getting room placement feet/spikes on and tune them to the room the sound is breathtaking.
I matched them with a little Creek 4330 the 500W base amp
helped give the creek the goods.

If you can carry these 85lb to the house set them up as the are made you will like them. this review is from someone
who does not like subs/sub amps or complicated set-ups!
After doing what I was to do I understood the base process
and why each room needs a tailor like these.

Weakness:

If any it would be the cherry finnish should be dark like the ovt.3's

I haven't had them long enough to tweak everything yet.But right out of the box the sound is big.I thought the ovt.3's were great these puppies will blow you away.Music cd's sound full and DVD's are awesome. They are heavy, you better have help moving these around.I have them hooked up to a sony 777es reciever. For the front channel. At 1/4 volume the couch is vibrating!

These were a upgrade from Infinity, they could not repair my ovt.1's.But I had to wait 8 months to get them.Worth the wait!Thank's INFINITY...........
