Great sounding speakers. Infinitys EMIT tweeters are simply fantastic. Nice crystal clear highs, and the bass is tight. you'll hear every detail in the music. These are throw backs to Infinity speakers of the late 70s and early 80s when Infinity was a small company (before the Harman Kardon days). In fact, these are the first speakers I've heard that caused me to upgrade my 25 year old Infinity Quantum 5s. I would put these up against anything.

While living overseas I purchased a pair of Infinity Kappa 7 International Series. I especially liked the sound stage the speakers produced and their musical accuracy. They were too large to ship home so I sold them. Big mistake! I felt like I lost my best friend. I recently purchased a pair of the Delta 60s' and am one content puppy once again. Although the finish is no where near the Kappas, the sound is almost on a par with them. I would recommend them to anyone who demands a clean accurate sounding speaker. For what I paid for the Deltas, I definitely have to give them 5 stars

I used to own a pair of Infinity SM-115's, which were pretty good speakers.I decided about 2 weeks ago to buy a pair of Infinity Delta 60's as an upgrade.
WOW!! Short and sweet, I LOVE THESE SPEAKERS!!
They sound very rich and full. A very nice balance of sound. Much more natural sounding than the SM-115's.
Excellent bass, midrange, and beautiful treble reproduction through that new design E-MIT tweeter.
Bravo, Infinity!!

Strength:

Attractive design, powerful low end and clarity of mids/highs

Weakness:

Huge tower demands plenty of space

Owned Delta 60's for about six months and am very pleased with the speakers performance in relation to their price.
However, when I put my 60's to the pepsi challenge with a pair of Klipsch Forte's, the klipsch's just beat them down.
Maybe not a fair battle, but an interesting point of comparision. The 60's destroy my pair of Klipsch 3.5, but that isn't a fair fight either.

Generally a good set of speakers for home theater. Can be a bit too bright at times. Audiophiles needn't bother.

Strength:

Very Clear, very powerful, art!

Weakness:

high (nothing at all though)

The emit tweeters seems to be a little louder than the woofers (might just be my soundfield), that is no problem at all though, the speakers' woofers can easily take it, u just gotta adjust your eq in your receiver. (Or maybe its just me, i just love the fat bass that these speakers can produce, if u turn the bass up on your receiver.) These speakers rock so much, you got no idea, purchase em!!!

Strength:

clear, bright

Weakness:

lake of bass, need a sub

I have this speaker from onsale.com, no, actually is egghead.com right now. I paid $490 for a pair including shipping. this speaker can produce bright and clear music but lake of bass. I mean for a person that like a lot of bass like me. and I have a sub to back it up, with a subwoofer, I'm statisfy with the performance.

This is not a speaker for those who like huge or solid bass, if you like to rock your house or room, go for cervin-wega or the SM series of infinity, these speakers will give you the punch that you like. overall I'm statisfy, 4 stars for Delta 60, save one for others.

Strength:

Looking, Price/performance

Weakness:

Not sounds as good as it looks.

My review including my experience with Tannoy, AIWA and Infinity.

I bought Infinity Delta 60 from onsale for $520 total. At this price it is a bargin. I used them as my rear speakers. They make good, big sounds. I think Delta should worth at least $400. $1000 a pair is fair. I would give them 4 star, but at my privce I will give them 5 stars at this price.

My rears was a pair of Tannoy Saturn S8 SCR. So I had a pair of S8 free, where did I put them ? I replaced the pair of my AIWA MT 960 front speakers with Tannoy Saturn S8 CLR, that pair is $1200 retail. I think the Infinity are in no way compare to Tannoy from the music aspects. Infinity Delta 60 is good, but Tannoy is more musicial. Infinity Delta 60 is big with two 8' drivers, so they are good for home theater. After replaced the AIWA's 6' paper driver speakers with Tannoy S8 CLR, OOOH ! They are a lot better. They turn my AIWA alive! I used my aiwa as my computer speakers for games. They can make 3D surround sound. I never think of listen to music on AIWA. Now Tannoy speakers make pretty pleasure sound. The treble and voice are much transparent and clear, bass are tight, I can even get some sound stage definition. Image is much better. Now I listen to FM radio when I sit in front of my computer. FOr people who have AIWA mini system right now, they can replace the speakers with Tannoy Mercury M1 or M2, they are only $250 and $350 a pair. Please check their reviews. Worth it ! When you upgrade their M1 or M2 can still used as rear speakers.
