For the price, I cannot believe my ears. Paid 300 and change for the pair at ubid.com.
Warm and enveloping, I think these are a fine pair of speakers. I only wish I had more space, to move them away from the wall, because I know the bass could improve.

They handle music and movies with great competance.

I havn't had a good Stereo/Home Theater system before, but these speakers sound better then any I've had before. I think these will be the start of a pretty great Home Theater system when I'm done. I paid $400 for the pair.

I just picked up a pair of the Infinity Crescendo CS-3007 speakers and they are great speakers at a great price. I listen to all types of music and these speakers handle everything. The bass is tight and the highs are precise. Definatly a good purchase.

Strength:

Pretty much everything... but the midrange and tweeter really rock!

Weakness:

Bass cuts off around 48hz, but it's more than adequate for most music and home theater. Get a sub and you'll be in heaven.

I bought the speakers new at $1300/pair back in 1995. I
recently decided to try to replace them to get some more
bass (after hearing a friend's HT setup using Polks) and
I've come to the conclusion that the only way to replace
these speakers is to spend well over double what they cost.

The only speaker that clearly beat them (to my ears) was
a B&W Matrix 804, which costs ~$3,000/pair.

I'm thinking of adding a sub and living with these for the
foreseeable future until some other speaker really rocks my world.

Similar Products Used:

I've been wanting to replace them and finally decided not to... well.. yet. :) I auditioned B&W 601, 602, 603, 604, and 605s, as well as their Matrix 804 and Matrix 805. I've also listened to pretty much everything Klipsch makes, too.
