Strength:

Excellent clarity, sound, and sound field at less than $900.

Weakness:

Now discontinued. The monolithic black tower look has to work for you. For optimal sound the speakers should not be placed against the rear wall.

This was a standout in 1996. Plenty of unexaggerated bass and superb clarity. A significant step up from our large Genesis speakers and a much more compact design. The speakers need to be placed about 20–25 cm away from the rear wall. Our speakers sit on a 14-foot-wide wood floor with no central bracing (a great low frequency sounding board) and a subwoofer would be overkill. The speakers are driven by a 110 watt/channel amplifier (Kenwood KR-V7040). This is not adequate for ear-bleed rock, but more than adequate for classical and jazz.

In purchasing a new home theater system I spent about 2 months listening and revewing a number of speakers. There were a few standouts including the Def. Tech 2002, B&W, and Paradigm, but I found for the price, the Eosone 600's to be the best deal. If you have a chance to take them home do so. I reviewed these at Best Buy in an open room with other (lesser) speakers blaring in the background and found their clarity to be lacking (Personal side note: Best Buy really needs to setup listening rooms if it wants to be in the home theater business). After some review I decided to take them home and give them a good listening. Wow... what a difference that made. Once properly burned in they producted a wonderfully warm image, nice mids, and clear highs (except at the very extremes). Not a huge image but very nice for an average size room. Fit and finish was very nice, but the manual was of no help what so ever. Give them a try, paired with a good sub (I didn't like Eosone's sub, I prefer the Energy ES-10 for the price; around $380), powerful amp (there efficiency is only 88), and Eosone's matching center and surround speakers, you will be pleasently suprised. And for a total package price of about $2,000 (including sub), it would be difficult to find a better setup for music or movies.

I Was Listening to the Eosone RSF600 Speakers(1 BIG problem : Eosone has got to sell them other places than Best Buy)Those Speakers have a Really Powerful sound and the sound is really room filling but the speakers need to shield the Midrange speaker so it can reproduce Voices better and another problem is that the Speakers don't have a really wide sound unless they are far from the wall.Personally i think the Eosone Subwoofers are great but they tend to slap (when it's going to it's limits) and the Subs overpower the Front Speakers during loud explosion parts so all you hear is BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM from the Subwoofer and a Small crash from the front and centers. personally i would use the Cerwin-Vega Subwoofer (Powered of Course).

Right now I have a pair of bose AM 7's and AM 3's. and to tell the truth i was really disapointed in the sound quality. I heard the Esones at Best Buy and they blew my bose speakers away. As soon as I sell my Bose system I am going to buy the Esones

I compared the eosone RSF600 with several other brands in its price range. I found that coupled with a cerwin vega sub, they blew away the competition. I am an enthusiastic jazz and pink floyd listener, and I found it reproduces the complex effects extremely well. My neighbor, a long-time SERIOUS audiophile, was rather embarrassed after a good listen to my setup. He paid a whopping $4000 for his Klipsch setup!! He could not distinguish my speakers from his.

These speakers rule--the cleanest treble & bass I've heard, save the Infinity Overture III series. If your in the market for a really great pair of speakers in the thousand dollar range, check these out...I'm happy with 'em.

I bought the 600's a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed with them that I went back and bought the 350's (surround speaker) and the 300 (center speaker). I don't like the sound of the 910 or the 912 sub so I'm still looking for one in the $400 - $600 range.
You can listen to them at Best Buy, but you can save some bucks by buying them from crutchfield online.

When I upgraded my speaker system this past summer it was quite a good time.In all my travels to higher end stores I found it rough to locate a good all around system for around 2k,then the impossible happened I made the trip to Best Buy in there three rooms at first glance it looked weak the usual crap, bose, yamaha, jbl etc... then to my suprise a friend of mine was working there and told me to take a listen to the eosones,to my major surprise i was impressed with the clear response coming out and the construction was pretty good so i ended taking home thersf 400 home theater package I accually prefer the 400s over the 600s when i went home i hooked them up and i was glad i purchased them . I recomend using kimper kable 4pr cable it seemed to bring out a even cleaner sound. how about the price flux? ive never seen something go down and then go up alot .the rsf 400 complete system retails for 2670.00 i ended up going out thr door for about 1700.oo best deal i ever got got to give them a 5. im looking for sony es components if antbody has any for sale e-mail me

I went to Best Buy to listen to the Eosone RSF1000's. I had read reviews that said it was an excellent speaker. When I got to the showroom, they had the 400's, 600's and 1000's set up to a demo board where you could select the speaker and the kind of music you want to audition the speaker with. I thought the 1000's sounded like they were missing punch. I then selected the 600's... and wow... I was blown away. I thought they sounded great. The price was $369 each... but they didn't have any. (Only the floor models... which they wouldn't sell me because they hadn't been discontinued yet...) I went away and was so impressed with the sound that I sought out other places to buy these speakers. None of the Best Buys had any in the boxes. Crutchfield sells them... but for $800 for the pair plus shipping. I revisted the Best Buy yesterday and the price had gone UP to $399 each.... but they were willing to sell me the floor model pair for $500 (what made yesterday different then a few days before, I have no idea) ...I'm just happy I got them. They sound awesome! I recommend these to anyone looking for a good set of speakers!!!
