Strength:

Small footprint, excellent bass for 2 5 1/2" woofers, clean airy highs.

Weakness:

They need a certain amount of space behind and on the sides to take advantage of the bipolar capabilities.

I listened to a lot of speakers before I bought these guys and it was a tough choice, but the effect of the bipolar design won me out for it's huge soundstage. I owned BA VR30's previously and got these just to change things around and I'm thoroughly impressed by the bass response, midrange clarity and crisp but not bright highs. It is very easy to listen to for long periods of time but I would really love to add a seperate amp to my system to see what these puppies can do. I origaninally was going to get the 3+2, they had a bit more bass, but the natural presentation and realism wasn't there as it was in the 2+2. They are even built better with the front and rear drivers totally seperated inside their own enclosure. This is an excellent soundind small footprint speaker and I would check them out as they aren't gooing to be around for much longer.

System includes:
AC300 Center
A2+2 Main LR
Boston VRS Pro surrounds
Denon AVR3200
Pioneer DVL909 LD/DVD combo player
Monster Z100 speaker cable biwired to all 3 fronts
