I just bought these speakers from a local dealer for $875 as the floor model in perfect condition. The bipolar sound is sweet, the soundstage is huge. The two 8 inch woofers in each speaker really gets down low. They sound awesome. They are very efficient also, I push them with a Pioneer VSX-D608 DD, DTS receiver that has 100W x 5. They really are worth the price I paid and more. Even if you have to pay retail I would still get these because they smoke most speakers in their price range. Associated Equipment:
Pioneer VSX-D608 DD,DTS Receiver
Pioneer PD-F1007 301 Giga Changer
Pioneer DV-414 DVD Player
Sharp 27 inch TV w/Component Inputs
Energy Audissey 5+2
Energy AC-300 (center)
Energy RVSS (rear)(not in system yet:)
M&K VX105 (sub)(not in system yet:)
My Home Theater is Budget but it sound absolutly great. I am very pleased with the performance of the Energy Audissey's. They rock, rap, and render classical music better than speakers costing 2-3 time more. If you like Bipolar speaker, I dont think there is a better value. Five Stars.:)(:

Strength:

great power, excellent bass, nice piano finish,

Weakness:

the cloth covering is easily ripped, otherwise nothing

I received my speakers about 3 weeks ago and its been nothing but great. Although I don't have the preferred set up, to close to the side wall, they still sound excellent. For you bass maniacs, as long as your running an appropriate amplifier to it, these speakers will pound. I just ordered bettercables.com to see if it makes an audioable difference. I hope so, the cables cost me 350.00 Canadian. ( I choose 3 meter, banana plug, biwired. ) I will let you know if it makes a 300.00 difference. Overall I am really impressed with these speakers.

These speakers are just amazing, I listen to everything on these speakers, Regular TV is just amazing. These speakers have one of the biggest soundstage i've heard and the imaging is just amazing. With two 8 inch drivers on the side there is plenty plenty plentyyyyy of bass......even with the awkward position I have these speakers in they sound amazing....I have them placed on adjacent walls...I'm using monster Z series speaker cable hooked up to a Denon Avr3300...Give these speakers five stars......

Strength:

Clarity and soundstage. Great value.

Weakness:

Haven't had any yet.

I use these speakers for everything. I also have the AC300 for my center channel and the 3+2's for my surrounds. DVD's sound amazing. The clarity and depth on CD's are exceptional as well. They're connected into my SR-19 Marantz receiver. More people should get these, they're an excellent value.

Strength:

Soundstage, Clear high and powerful low

Weakness:

none

Wonderful pair of speakers. As long as conventional speaker goes, I do not think any brand can beat it with good margin to justify the additional cost. Very clear high, powerful bass even without bi-amping, and the soundstage is far superior than monopoles. I believe these speakers borrowed almost everything from the Mirage omnipolar technology. Moreover, they matched very well with other brands of speakers such as paradigm, Definitive tech, etc. It is supposed to much more popular than it is now. I got my pair used for $800, pretty good deal. I would only consider ribbon speakers to replace them in music listenning in the future.
