I use my Dali 2.5s with a Roksan Caspian pre amp set up and quite frankly it is stunning. Warm yet well defined, no details are lost, the bass has depth....I could go on! Decent cables make a difference too. Buy the best you can afford. The set up I have has to handle anything from Colleen to Aphex Twin or Deamau5 to Lisa Gerrard. Oh and Radio 4 even sounds good! An expansive music collection is my justification for a set such as mine :)

I bougt these speakers last year. Someone destroyed mij old frontspeakers completely. I was not satisfied with them anyway. I spend a whole day in a shop and listened to many speakers from Tannoy to B&W and on. Most of the speakers that were even more expensive didn't sound any better. With all the songs I listened the Dali's were best. At home this opinion was stil the same, thank god. I'm still very satisfied with these speakers.

Dali Suite 2.5 Nice speaker with great design. The speaker sounds warm and very detailed. The tweeter, bass/midrange- and bass speaker are perfectly balanced. The cabinet has a nice design and construction. It is a very elegant speaker.

Clear, detailed and controlled large soundfield.Musical and great impact.Dynamic in all regions

At this price?

This realy is a corker!I don't think you will find any product what comes close to this for so little money. I listened to KEF Q7(this speaker comes close in quality but twice! the price).I liked the overal sound. Everything is very balanced and controlled. Large orchestral pieces will be transformed in clear music by these Dali Suite 2.5's!Very musical performance. The dealer even brought them without any extra cost to my house.I am impressed!

These speakers are part of my first 'good' set. I use a Marantz PM 78 amp, a Marantz CD 76 se CD player and a Marantz ST 4000 tuner. I love the way these speakers sound with jazz and classical music. When playing pop and rock music I sometimes wish for less bass, but I don't want to switch off the 'source direct' button on my amplifier. I have a very small student room. The suite 2.5 probably sounds better in a middle sized room. Right now I am just sitting way too close to them when listening. Anyway I am very content with these speakers, although I think I payed a little too much for them.

Strength:

everything - bass,mid,tweeter,looks - sounds great!

Weakness:

i use them as front speakers a home cinema system, but they are mostly used in stereo.

the equipment i use with them are; marantz sr 5000,marantz dv4000,vivanco optical cable and tara labs omni speaker cables.
with these comp. the suite speakers work very good.
they sound great , and have a very nice look.
i recomend them for people who dont want to use much money, listen to classic and country and so on(they are great in all kinds of music, play very varm and good, but since its kind of small speakers(2x 6,5") , i think they would work best in that way, rap, hip hop, techno and stuff like that need moore punch in the bass, but with a subwoofer these speaker would work nice with any kind of music), and dont want to have these usual ugly boxes in the livingroom.

Strength:

Warmth, dynamic and well defined bass. Easy placement. Looks.

Weakness:

Can be quite boomy in small rooms. Lacks a little punch in the deep bass.

I use these speakers with an Onkyo TX-8211 reciever, an Onkyo DX-7111 CD-player, Tara Labs Prism 11 interconnect cable and Dali Python bi-wire speaker cables.

These apeakers continue to surprise me - no matter what type of music you listen to, they are able to reproduce it very realistic and with an outstanding "live" feeling. The stereo perspective is great, you can easily place each musician on stage and the vocals are very clear.

I listen to everything from techno to classical and the speakers never looses control.

They are - in my opinion - a definete best buy in this pricerange.

These are nice speakers, but when I compared them to
Dali 450 I noticed the differences in sounds. Dali 450
sounds brighter and more open. suite 2.5 gives more bass.
maybe these two speakers are designed for a little bit different kinds of music, I don't know.
For example horns in Conan - The Barbarian soundtrack sound
much more alive with Dali 450. I could notice the same thing with many kinds of (mostly) acoustic music.
It's a pity that they don't make Dali 450 anymore.

B&W cdm7 are way much better than these speakers but hey,
they cost double of the suite 2.5 price!

I think these speakers are for listeners who don't like so
bright sound, for example they don't like when drummers
hi-hat blows their ears to another dimension.

My room makes these speakers sound a little boomy, I'm not sure if the room makes the same effect to every speaker so heavily.

I think my next speakers could be for example from B&W line, they make brighter sounding stuff (usually costing more).
