they have a differnt sound then other cerwin vega speakers but the sound is cerwin vega. nice control on the drivers .bass is all you will need very clean non booming bass cabinets sweet

were the wires hook up on the speaker terminals underneath the cabinet thats all. you lay cabinet face down or on there back to hook up speaker wires but its worth it

i have been searching for these when they came ou new could not afford them then so when i gave up they poped up on ebay shocked i new they were mine the rest is history if you see a pair do not pass them up .BUY THEM

Purchased these from Spider Gear, just because of the stats on these. Was slightly worried on how the sound quality would be upgrading from a pair of Infinity RS2000.4, the only reason for the upgrade was the lacking of bass in the Infinitys. When I got the Q-1's I was impressed that it came with a bass boost module that appears to be for tapes, personally I don't have a tape deck so I have never used the bass boost module. Living in a dorm, the first time I hooked them up, I was blown away with the power that came from only a ten inch woofer, and everyone in the hall came over asking what I had in there. The sound quality was better than anything I heard in the 400 dollar price range before.
Highly recommended to anyone, they rock
