Very good value for the money. Have them hooked up to a McIntosh sterreo (MCD500 source and 2x200W MA6600 integrated amp) and the sound is superb. In fact, I would suggest better then the entry level vento series from Canton ($800+ more than these) as there are 2 woofers, and very close to the 4-way ventos (theat also have 2 woofers, although 8 inch vs 7) but $3000 less! I listen to lots of Jazz, Instrumental and classic and really enjoy the very rich and natural sound. But, can also listen to pop and rock no sweat! One of my favourites to play for guest to impress is School from Supertramp, and play with the McIntosh needles bouncing past the 200W per channel with flashing power-guard pilots! Wow! Full range, great base, fambulous cabinets (piano black finish, aluminum drivers with chrome rings) and killer dynamic response. I think you would need to pay well over $10k for speakers that can really outclass these. Love them. Note worthy in the cabinet design is the bottom bass reflex (note space between base and speaker bottom) that is only available in the chrono series outside the reference vento series (not to mention the great covers that can either attach to front or rear of the speaker). Highly recommend.
