Basically CSW stuff is OK,if overpriced, for Low-Fi stuff. There are many better speakers available for the same money from highly regarded manufacturers such as NHT, Paradigm, PSB, and Energy

I have not visited this board on a regular basis for about a year and after reviewing some of the 'reviews', am sorely dissapointed with some of the new users.

Granted there have always been and always will be a few thoughtless individuals who have nothing better to do than rip on other people's equipment to make themselves feel better. What I am talking about is not the constructive criticism the more mature users leave, but the anonymous (and sometimes multiple) one sentence posts people leave that are malicious in nature and do nothing to add depth of understanding to a product.

End of rant. Beginning of Review:

From listening to this system at the local CSW showroom, I have to say it is pretty good for home theater use. I cannot judge its musical merits as that would involve a more subtle listening, but for movies, it has plenty of SLAM!

I have tested the Towers by themselves and am not a big fan of bi-polar speakers as imho they tend to be inaccurate and fairly unpredictable for serious listening. Some of my other friends do like the more open sound, but I highly directionality and imaging.

The potential buyer should read the other reviews on the individual components that comprise this set.

A 3.5-4 star rating in my book, but I will leave 5 stars to offset the previous "review".

Unbelieveable performance and value - two monstrous Tower I's, the Centerstage, the award-winning Surround 5.1's, and a resounding Powered Subwoofer 1A. Also includes a top-notch Marantz AC-3 receiver (either SR 585 or the new SR5000).
This set deserves to be priced twice as high considering all the benefits the customer receives. The CSW speakers are outstanding and with the Marantz, a true simulation of an actual "cinematic" experience can be achieved!

Will blow you away and have you ducking for cover (watch Twister or Days of Thunder on DVD's with this set and you'll never leave the house!)

100% quality!
