Strength:

GREAT PRICE AND A BREEZE TO INSTALL.

Weakness:

THE MOVABLE TWEETER IS A GOOD FEATURE BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DESIGN THAT WILL NOT CATCH THE EYE THEN LOOK ELSEWHERE. THE TWEETER STICKS RIGHT THROUGH THE GRILL BY ABOUT 3/4 OF AN INCH. NOT THE PRETTIEST THING TO LOOK AT.

OVERALL A GOOD SPEAKER FOR THE CASUAL LISTENER. I QUESS I CAN GET USE TO THE LOOKS.

I am shopping for In-Wall speakers for my new build house. I am greatly appreciated Anyone would like to share their experienced with the BIC of America In-wall speakers.
Compare BIC prices to others, I would give it 4!

Thanks,

Pooh

I am using the MSR-6 as my surround. I liked it because I can pivot thetweeters to produce better imaging. My builder prewire my surround on the
ceiling. The only thing with these in-wall speakers is that you must
use subwoofer. I am using BIC VR1000 which make these inwalls sounds better.

Strength:

For Ceiling speakers cheap, damn cheap

Weakness:

sounds a little cheap

The specs look better than they sound. I bought three sets of speakers Bic MSR6 $96pr, Paradigm cs60r $320pr, jbl as65c $130pr. I spent a couple of hours switching them back and forth. The bic's were not bad but they obviously lack the response flatness you would want. The paradim's were very nice especially for the size. I finally stuck with the JBL AS65C, they lacked a little in the highs compared to the Paradigm's but they were less than half the price.

The main reason I am writing this review...listen to as many as you can before you carve up your ceiling!! If you do buy them buy some 10 inch foam baffles from a car stereo store to cover the back this will keep dust, insulation, bugs and other stuff out.

Similar Products Used:

Paradigm cs60r, jbl as65c
