I bought the AT CT 1 from One Call with the JVC SVD-701BK Dvd player for around $1000, I have to say they both are fabulous... I bought the Compact Theater 1 from One Call with some trepidation because I'd never auditioned the speakers. However, they came with a 30 day money back guarantee(including all shipping costs), so I figured I could just audition them in my home, with my own equipment, and come to a better decision than if I had auditioned them in a store.
After having these speakers for over a week now, I can safely say that I am NOT sending them back. They sound great whether I’m playing rock, r&b, or classical music. Where they really excel, however, is (as their name might suggest) Home Theater. I have a small living room (app. 12’ by 15’), and combined with my Yamaha R-V1105 and Pioneer DV-414, they ROCK! I have never even gone beyond one-third volume on the Yamaha, and the sound literally shakes the room. My roommates certainly know when I’m watching a movie.

As for the inevitable comparisons between this setup and the Energy Take 5, I can’t really say that much. I auditioned the Take 5’s in a store and they sounded ok; I’m sure I would have been happy with them. Since I didn’t audition them in my living room with my own equipment, I certainly cannot give a fair comparison. I would say that the Take 5 satellites look a little bit sleeker than the Atlantic speakers, but that isn’t really a big concern of mine.

I think for the money, you can’t go wrong with either these or the Take 5s. The ability to do an in-home audition with the Atlantic system should not be understated, however. I am extremely pleased with this purchase, and I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

This is NOT about the theater system but a comment about Onecall which generally has good reviews, however not with me. Make sure you get a
written/taped agreement. You decide.

I bought a home theater system from Onecall. Onecall is giving a free

I asked the saleperson (Thomas) who took my order about this and he
confirmed this.

The package was sent and during shipment, I decided to cancel the
order (I got a better deal elsewhere) so I called Onecall and spoke
to Larry. He said that I could refuse the order BUT I would have to
pay for S+H.

Thomas calls me a few days later and was confused about the order. So
I explained and he mentioned the charge for S+H. I asked to talk to
his manager (Mike - Sales Manager). I told him that I was told of the
money back guarantee including the S+H. Mike, Larry and Thomas said
that I would be charged S+H BECAUSE I DID NOT LISTEN to the system.
If I had listened and then returned it, then I would be ok.

I was not told this or it was not told to me in clear and concise
manner. I still think that I am well within my right.

I told this to Mike, Larry and Thomas, but they said that because
I did not hear it I was in the wrong. If I had known this I would
of listened to the system.

I absolutely LOVE these speakers! I've had them for about six weeks, and I've listened to them under several different circumstances and volumes, and for the price, they can't be beat! One Call even came down a bit on the price for me.

I bought the AtlanticTechnology Compact Theater I from One Call. I am very pleased with it. I've had a number of audi enthusiasts here to listen to them and they and I all feel for the price, they are great. The subwoofer is the Atlantic Technology 162 PBM, which has gotten good reviews elsewhere.
One of the speakers was damage during shipping and One Call was very helpful in replacing them at no cost and very quickly.
