Strength:

Price, performance

Weakness:

Boomy bass

These speakers were an upgrade on my Quantec PIII 450. They perform great for their size. The only complaint that I have is that the subwoofer tends to be a bit boomy. But then again these are computer speakers and not home theater/audio. Great performance for the price.

Strength:

Excellent subwoofer with strong bass content-very clear especially with digital 24 bit recordings-balanced sound despite lacking treble and bass controls.

Weakness:

No headset outlet!

Best price on the market for similiar speakers and certainly the best sound when played in a small office setting with door closed.Visited numerous computer stores prior to purchasing and tested "upper scale" speakers which sounded clearer and had less distortion but for the money really could not compare.I have had these speakers for over a year and find them performing just as if they were out of the box brand new.One more thing, these speakers are not too loud when the volume is turned up!

Cheers!

Strength:

nice bass, clear sound

Weakness:

none yet

for the price that i paid for the speakers, it is really worth getting these, really nice bass, maybe a bit to much, but it can be turned down and the satilite speakers take up no space at all
