i sell speakers out of a van. its legit, my company has lisences, and people get better deals than any stores. its possible to get ripped off, but this would be done by individual scam artist, and extremlly unlikley.

Strength:

Great sound especially with the right receiver pushing them

Weakness:

Have not found one

At first I thought that I was conned out of my money but I pride myself with having an eye for quality. I used the two I bought to replace some older Ventura fronts speakers on my Home theater system. I was pleasantly suprised at the improvement of sound. At the time, I was pushing them with an Onkyo 525 receiver. But intuition prompted me the upgrade to the Integra level receiver. Bottomline- I am not disappointed. These speakers kick butt. Now I am looking to maximize their performance by utilizing the other connectors. Any suggestions?

Strength:

Bright ... crisp....

Weakness:

Over priced..... you still need a reciever to get the highs out of it.

I'm imbarrassed to say how much they got me for.... but the sound is okay. There is a way to connect it without a BIG reciever. But they are not on the same level as Bose or a Infinity "which was how they were to sold to me"

Strength:

• They make great paper weights. • Look expensive enought to shell out 300 bucks for.

Weakness:

• 35 watt max speaker tolerance • No mids • Made in malaysia • No customer support

You MothuF****** scam artists are full of it. You blatently sell theese products to people under false pretenses. You claim the product is a surround sound system not mentioning that theres no freaking reciever. HELLO you can get a 500 Watt suround system with a reciever for 150.00. Your system has no reciever and the little crap speakers max out at 35 watts!! I don't mind buying stuff out of van. I don't mind buying hot stuff either. But I don't like being lied or led on so someone else can make a buck. If you ever aproach me again you better watch out boys. I'm going to rip your f-ing heads off .

Strength:

they kick all other speaker a$s. minus martin logans and such, but you people couldnt afford those if u wanted to. Try them out and stop dissing my speakers u retard.

Weakness:

stupid people cant figure out how to wire them up. They cant figure out what the 4 input/output are for. Sometimes i cant sell any in a day or two because people are so skeptical about buying from a van. These speakers rock and you are lucky if we pitch u. DUCKS!

You people are morons, especially the ones who think they got scammed or dont know what the 4 outputs/inputs are on the back. And to clear that up for you idiots- the 4 ports are used to 1. initially hook up the speakers to the reciever either by speaker wire (the y unscrew) or for plugs. 2. the second set are used to run another set of speakers up to the system allowing for a 7.1 system off of 1 set of these with a center and another rear left and right and sub. I sell thes , from my white van, and you people are stupid as hell. These speakers kick a$s. You are lucky to even have them, and the only reason we pitched to you in the first place is because you look so f-n stupid in the first place. I personnaly have sold these for over 1200.00 many times, but on the majority of the times i sell them for 300.00 just to push product.

Strength:

They are small.

Weakness:

No mid-range.

Sorry, These things suck A**. paid $200 for 5 speakers, so maybe they are worth $40 each, maybe. I guess if I think if it that way, they are great $40 dollar speakers. Too bad I am used to good sound coming from my Klipsh towers that just blow these dinky little things away!

Strength:

Good clean sound for jazz, classical, and rock alike. Fairly compact for floor speakers.

Weakness:

Sales tactics may confuse some people. Sometimes bad people sell good products. While good as floor speaker, kinda huge for the bookshelf

Bought the Acoustic Image 6.5 speaker pair off the white van people. They sat in a closet for 18 mos. while I revised my big home audio project. At last, I hooked them up to very solid Panasonic Dolby DTS receiver as the "B" pair (just for music--not home theater). The receiver puts out about 120 watts / channel. I'm also using a sub-woofer with a 70 watt amp. Result? They sound great. For the price paid, they were a great deal. Of course I don't know what they'll sound like in a year. To all you folks who fell ripped off by obnoxious, aggressive sales people, feel guilty for blowing the rent money, upsetting the wife, etc., don't sulk. Whether you shoulda used the money to buy groceries instead is another issue, but for your speaker dollar, you did fine, so hook 'em up and enjoy.

Strength:

Good quality...Great Clarity

Weakness:

i wish they came with a case of beer or something

LOL, i think i scammed them. The two guys said they need a couple bucks for a hotel room and a titty bar so i took a quick look and told him all i had was 100 to dish out, take it or leave it... He put them in my cherokee and now there home next to my with my Klipsch surround sound adn 1 2 inch sub...They made a nice edition, so i say if u payed under 250, you got yourself a reasonable deal.
