Add me on to the list of fools. I just got scammed today at a shell gas station. I've been surfing the web for the last 2 hours trying to find this high end audio "Acoustic Image" on the web. My search brings me here, to the support group. I guess its my turn to stand up... I Sam am an idiot.

The white van strikes again!! Like everyone else, I wish I'd seen this site a few hours ago... I felt it may be a bit of a scam, and did get lots of boxes (9 spreakers in all) for my money, but these guys are SO good. I'll resubmit a review after I've actually heard them. Of course no one who is seriously shopping for speakers would buy them anyway after reaching this site anyway, so a real review is probably pointless.

The White van has hit once again!!! Me and two friends were walking to the new Best Buy on Central Avenue in Yonkers when a white van pulled up with three guys in it asking "You guys wanna buy some speakers?" We were interested so the guys jumped out and showed us what he had in the back of the van. They claimed they worked for some sound warehouse in Connecticut and the guy wasnt home where they were suppose to be delivered to. He showed us some fancy fliers on Acoustic Image speakers. They did look really good. So we said all we had was a hundred dollars and he sold us the surround sound set (5 Satellites). They sound ok i guess but not for a hundred dollars.

Why didn't I see these messages sooner. The 3 young dudes were running major game and I should have known better. I have never purchased speakers without hearing them first. Something should have clicked when these guys were willing to part with $1,600 speakers for $300 and they weren't even crack heads.

powerful and clean bass

I only got the Tsunami sub, and to be honest I think it really *IS* worthy of being hooked up alongside my Wharfedale mains. I hooked it up and nearly fainted at the bass that apparently was missing from those (which are rated down to 34Hz). Yeah, of course it was fishy buying from the back of an unmarked white van with temporary out-of-state plates. Considering how great this sub sounds, I won't argue. I'm glad to see they're not stolen. Is it a $1200 sub like they said? Of course not. Is it WELL worth the $300 I paid? Damn straight. Why is anyone reviewing a speaker they haven't listened to? If anything all this proves is that the name brands are the ones ripping you off by making you pay hundreds more for a little sticker with their name on it. This sounds just as good.

The fact that i got scammed

Two white blokes scmaed me into buying 2 6.5 tower spears and surroung sound speaker set for 300 bucks.
They sure got me, but i got them on video camera and i will send the pics around the area and when myself or any other of my friends find them, the shi@# will hit the fan. If u interested in seeing pics of these guys let me know, i will mail them to you.

Being stupid

I am just happy to realize that I am not the only member of the association of Idiots. Those boys actually got me. The unfortunate thing was that my wife was advising me not to buy this stuff but I will not listen. I just hope she would not stumble on this website, then I will be in trouble. A message to these boys: May your road be rough.
