Picked up an ex demo pair for £100 for my starter hifi setup. I think i robbed the bank. Theyre amazing. Warm, sonic, bassy, excellent mid rang and trebble too with a bit of EQ fiddling. Tell these speakers what you want them to do and they deliver. I actually love these. Just trying to find the right amp and record player for them now. Tri-wiring really does help.

Excellent midrange performance, staggerinhg bass for size. Beautiful solid wood finish, cast iron plinth base, weigh 50lbs each. With tri amping, sound amazing - will go v.v.loud.

Slight heavy breathing on bass ports at high volumes - can be remedied with some ligh foam to good effect.

Will show up holes in poor amplification, particularly with lack of power, so reccomend triamping. Full price of £850 can be reduced to £500 with a bit of looking - far far better than anything at this price - value rating is based on 500.
