I have a Silver Centre 10 between a pair of Silver 5 mini-towers. The Centre 10 is amazing and matches very nicely the sound of the towers. The centre does an amazing job with voice and sound fx reproduction, even at extremely high volume.
All I have left is to replace my cheapo JBL surround sat's with a pair of Silver 3's and I'll have the best sounding set of speakers for about $1600. I don't think I heard anything close coming out of a set of speakers less than $2500, discounts included. For the money, these are unbeatable.

Strength:

great looking, fantastic sound, and very durable

Weakness:

none

I have has this speaker for over 2 years, and it sounds fantastic. I have been recently laid off so I have had plenty of time to listen to others centers at some of the finer home theater stores in the Dallas area, and this one sounds as good as any of them regardless of price. My system consists of a Pioneer DVD player, Denon AVR-3300, and the Monitor Silvers 5s for the front, and 3s for the back.

The sound is very clear, and voice reproduction is true. IMHO you can not go wrong with the Monitor Silver series for home theater, and 2 channel. If you use a mid level or higher receiver, and good cables, you can not go wrong

Strength:

as all MA products, build quality, looks and definetly detailed sound

Weakness:

none

First of all a beautifully finished speaker with excellent build quality. Even my mother who doesn't give a "#$"% about hi-tech stuff commented how good the MA speakers look.
But only the sound matters so here's my bit. I've been to the video store and rented every DVD available to run the speaker in.First impression was a little harsh sound with little bass but after these two weeks they're smooth as silk. The dialogue is so clear you can even hear little nuances in voices, distortions, differences in voice tones.
Someone said the center speaker is one of the most important piece of equipment in HT and now i am a true believer. Not only dialogue goes through them, but they fulfill the difficult task to give the surround effects, such as explosions, shootings etc. a nice warm feel.
I am completly satisfied with this wonderful speaker, but then again watch out what drives them.Be careful in your amp choice.Do a lot of auditioning if u can. See my reviem on MA Silver 5's.
Only mishap the center is a little bit expensive.
