I bought the C5 to go with my KLF20's,I didn't have room for the huge C7. I have no regrets,in fact I highly recomend this center speaker and suggest that anyone looking for new speakers give the KLIPSCH products a listen.TWEETER .com has all KLIPSCH on clearance! ENJOY!!

This center channel is fantastic. No problem hearing the voice track over the other speakers. It is everything I had been told, well worth the money. Try looking at netmarket.com and J&R stereo for the best prices.

Strength:

Excellent clarity for dialogue/voices. Perfect timbre match
for KSF 10.5/8.5

Weakness:

Size, might be a bit bulky for some setups.

I had recently upgraded my Bose Acoustimass 5 speakers with a pair of Klipsh KSF-10.5. I kept my Bose center speaker until recently when I found a Klipsh KSFC5 at local retailer for $165.0. I thought I could not be more amazed than I was when I went from the Bose to the 10.5, however adding the C5 amazed me as much. These are a perfect match for my 10.5's. Now I know what quality/matched speakers can sound like.

Bose, although I hate to admit it all I had before getting the KSF was a Bose.

Recently i upgraded my whole system and when i went looking for a center to replace the KSF C5 I just could not find anything that could match the quality of sound that this center speaker does. I have a Pair of Paradigm Studio 100 and Paradigm Studio 40 and consider the KSF CF the gem of my home stereo sound. Please if somebody knows of a better center speaker for $500.00 or less please let me know.

I can only add to excellent reviews this speaker has gotten. It was everything I read here...clear, detailed, and simply better than any center channel I had heard. I got it for only $149.00 here at the exchange where I am stationed, considering the prices I've been seeing, it sounds like I got a very good buy. I have added it to my KLIPSCH KLF-20's and my Yamaha A1 (another great deal $1,400.00!). I have my Yamaha DSP-1 (A1 won't play audio through the center channel if any of the music sound fields are selected) connected to the external decoder inputs and the C-5 plays everything absolutely wonderful. DVD audio reproduction is flawless with Dolby Digital and DTS. Whispers in some scenes are as clear as anyone could wish for. Still searching for a sud that will blend well with this set-up. The KLF-20's don't need much help reproducing the bass, but hey why stop now. Thanks for the great reviews.

Well, after a few months use I have decided, because of the perfect timbre match with my front KSP300's,this is one good center speaker.Good clarity.Good bass.My previous favorite, although a fine center, has been relegated to storage. The KSF-C5 is a very good center speaker.Get one.

Strength:

CLARITY,STYLING

Weakness:

VINYL FINISH

Just bought this speaker recently to use with 5 KSP300's.I bought this speaker because it is optimized for the KSPs and
they are getting scarce.Lifted the monster KLFC7 from the top of my tv and tested the KSFC5.I could tell immediately the high end matched the 300's well but also that the C5 is
a much different sounding speaker as opposed to the C7.The C7 will easily overplay every speaker in the house and must be calibrated with the other speakers. The C7 plays much lower than the C5 and is probably the best center speaker Klipsch has built in recent history. The C5 seemed to leave a
hole in the bass and the overall character of the sound was affected.Anyway the C5 is a great speaker and I will probably make room in the closet for it and continue using the undisputed champ of Klipsch center speakers, the KLFC7.

Strength:

CLARITY,RICHNESS IN VOCALS

Weakness:

NONE THAT I CAN THINK OF

THIS SPEAKER IS A KLIPSCH STRONG POINT,I RECENTLY WENT TO BUT THR RC-3 CENTER BY KLIPSCH.I BRUGHT IT HOME AND DID A SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON.THE C5 HAD MORE RICHNESS AND DETAIL THAN RC-3 THEIR NEW CENTER THAT TOOK THE PLACE OF THE C5.I ACTUALLY CALLED KLIPSCH AND TOLD THEM THEY NEED TO SEND THEIR ENGINEERS BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD I WAS LOOKING FOR AN UPGRADE.IMAGINE MY DISSAPPOINTMENT,I'M STAYING WITH MY C5 I CANT FIND A BETTER ONE AT THIS TIME THANKS KLIPSCH.

Strength:

Good looking, indistructable and sound good too.

Weakness:

A little brassy.

If you read my reveiw on the Klipsch 8.5's you know I love the klipsch stuff. Again with the C-5 center, it took a short burn in time to soften up. But they sound pretty good now. Recently I've purchased three Carver Amps from E-bay. I'm running the C-5 with a Carver tfm-15 bridged. That's about 280 watts right to the center. And this little speaker never skips a beat. It'll take anything you throw its way. It sounds good even while being stressed.
Now I see the older Klipsch stuff like mine on E-bay for less than half what I paid. If you're reading this and thinking of getting this center, do it! You won't be dissapointed. Just get similar fronts to make sure the whole front will blend together.
There may be better stuff to be had. But these speakers are a great value.

WOW! What a speaker! This KSF C5 center Speaker has to be one of the best for it price! Great value. I used to have the B&W CC6, but i sold it and when to seek for a new center speaker because the CC6 were not up to standards. Compared to the Klipsch, it had greater Bandwidth at 63Hz-20kHz over the B&W's. If you want live sound, u should definitely go for the Klipsch. I choose the KSF C5 over many other manufactures suchy as B&W CC6, Paradigm 350 & 450, Boston VR-12, and KEF Q-series. With such clarity and deep soundstage, this speaker has to be the one for Home Theatre, however, it's recommended that the same brand for the main L & R speaker are used for optimal performance. Now saving up for Klipsch main speakers then Surround, then Subwoofer...
I'm driving the Klipsch KSF-C5 with my Onkyo TX-838.

PS. Keep up with the good work and looking forward to other new Klipsch products in future!
