This is a very good center speaker. Much better then the JBL I used before. Very clear and no noise. I'm using it with a Denon Receiver, Klipsch front and surround speakers, and a velodyne sub. With this speaker I can very clearly hear the dialogue of a movie.

I believe!
an Audiophile

If the KSF 10.5's are one of the most beautiful accurate pleasant sounding speakers out there and the KSC-C1 matches them in tonal characteristics "exactly" then what does that say about the KSC-C1? I'll tell you! That the best realistic seamless sounstage is out there and unless you hear them together you'll live life never knowing that the best speakers have been close by all along!

I've had the KSC-C1 center channel for one day. It is unbelievable for home theater. I didn't know how important matching the front speakers was until I got this gem hooked up. 6 stars....

Strength:

1) Transparent, Clear sound, what a center channel should sound like. Unobrusive filling the space betweem my beautiful Athena S-1 P-1s with perfect clear vocals and horns.
2) These Speakers actually bump a bit of bass!
3) The components are awesome 2 woofers and the famous Klipsch horn tweeter.
4) Efficient! I have only a 75w Yamaha AVR 393 to power it and it sounds great.

Weakness:

My system. I admit it, my Yamaha though adequate is pretty marginal.

I initially had no idea what a center channel was suppose to do until I listen to my buddies Fisher system, weak and tinny!
A center channel is almost suppose to be invisble. A good one compliments the front speakers. Bridging the gap with base. It is cool!

Strength:

Looks, Crisp Highs, Great Voice Detail.

Weakness:

Uses a 90 x 40 horn as to the new model SC-1 uses a 90 X 60.. not a weekness though plenty loud.

This is a awesome speaker for the price.. No other can compete with this one! Great quality built Klipsh product.. Ubid has excellent price, i got mine for 100.00 plus 24 shipping. This center replaced a Pinanncle Widescreen Center that used 4 4" drivers and a 1" soft dome tweeter and it BLOWS IT AWAY... Perfect match for classic ksb 3.1 bookshelf speakers. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Strength:

Clear full range sound, great dispersion

Sounds fabulous in my system. Clear and natural sounding dialog with good highs that don't screetch. The sound spreads out well so you don't have to be right in front of the unit to hear full range sound. Workmanship is excellent. Have it on top of my 35" Sony even with the top front edge. The supplied rubber feet do a good job of keeping it in place. I am very new to the Klipsch product line but every Klipsch purchase I made recently has led to another Klipsch purchase and I am happy with all of them.

Strength:

Good range, not too tinny

Weakness:

Size is a bit big, and I wish it had a flat top surface

I ran across this board and read the praise of this center channel, the KSW12 sub and the KSB2.1 satellites and I'm just amazed. Proof that God does exist. (And in Arkansas, nonetheless!)

I combined this with the Onkyo 575 DTS receiver and I can't imagine getting a better-sounding system, even for 2x the price. Great values all.

I have this speaker teamed up with a pair of KSB 3.1 and the they sound excellent together. When I listened to this center in the store I compared it to the small Bose and my decision was easy this speaker provides very clean sound. I am happy with my decision and would recommend this center speaker to others.

Strength:

Crisp, Clean sound for any type of listening, audio or home theater.

Weakness:

Grills, Speaker connections are awkwars for dual banana plugs

I purchased these on ebay to complement my Home Theater set up. I was pleasantly surprised at the crisp highs, and the low end that this speaker has for a two way. From other reviews bass was said to be a problem, but I have found they are able to handle the output from my receiver with ease. They are unbeatable at this price. I have listened to several bookshelf speakers and came back to the Klipsch for its known quality and workmanship. They are a pleasure to own and fit well with my system.I purchased everything on Ebay including my center channel, rears, and subwoofer for about 450.00 US$ which was a steal in my opinion.
