Strength:

very good tweater, large volume(size), bas reflex opening at the rear

Weakness:

bad shielding ,bas reflex opening at the rear, fragile design

Much better sound then my previous centers. Also better then some other brands that i have tried in the shop (I have made a DTS recording so could test the center speaker with and totaly seporate from the other speakers). It matches good with my JBL front speakers.
It is not "a closed box" it has a bassreflex opening at the back ; you can in or decrease the bass volume by putting the rear of the center speaker near to a wall(but not to close...)the shielding is bad when you move the speaker around strange colors on the tv appear. but my tv screen (32"widescreen Philips) compensates it after putting it off and on (degauss)
In the middle of the speaker is a bubble witch get damaged very easely (already after one day some paint has come off after putting the speaker on the tv)
I dont like the BIG logo
altogether i am happy with it

This center piece for the delta series is absolutely amazing. I have it combined with the delta 60's with bose 141 (yeah, i know, but it's what i can afford right now) as the surrounds and a Advent 15 in subwoofer. I have watched over 50 DVD's and they sound absolutely amazing. This sounds absolutely amazing. The highs are nice and sweet. it is definitely worth the money if you can afford this. I haven't heard this center piece with other speakers but i don't see why you should buy it if you don't have the Delta Tower speakers. it's a great combination. 5 stars! that's not even concerning the price of 165 at which i found on e-bay.

Big and bulky and beautiful. Replaced my old Infinity center with the Delta and boy what a difference this one made. The highs are really clean and clear and the lows are competing with my sub. I would strongly recommend this speaker to anyone who wants a great center without spending $1000.

Strength:

Strong and clear dialog.

Weakness:

None

Very pleased with this center speaker. Produces clear voices/dialog that are not harsh. It blends well with Infinity Delta main speakers and is working very well with my Infinity Prelude speakers. Plays strong with a good bottom to the frequencies it’s given.

I originally bought this at Onsale for $159 to go with a pair of Delta 40s I purchased previously. Power was supplied by a Nakamichi AV-500 receiver with my Sony AD2 DSS receiver as the source. I recenly upgraded to the Prelude fronts and surrounds, along with a Nakamichi IA-1z. Nothing real bad with the old stuff, I just couldn’t resist some deals on higher-end gear.

System mainly consists of:
Sony AD2(DSS receiver)(Next to be upgraded- no AC3 out)
Nakamichi IA-1z(AC3 integrated amp)
Infinity Prelude FRs(Front full ranger speakers)
Infinity Prelude Quadrapoles(Rear surround speakers)
Infinity Delta Center

No problems with shielding as some reported. Placed above an oak entertainment cabinet with tv fairly tight against top.

I would like to find a Prelude center (at a good price) to complete my Infinity Prelude set, but this Delta center does so well I am in no hurry and have no good reason to replace it at all.

Picked this wonderful piece up from onsale.com for $149....what a steal. Finished off the set as I got the Delta 30's from there too. Be warned its is abit bulky...it would look stupid on a flat screen tv etc. but the sound quality is equal to $400 centers I have heard. Comments about it "not going well without other Delta's" are bollocks.

Doesn't stand out in any way, which is exactly what you should be looking for in a center speaker. Matches the delta towers well.

Strength:

Crisp highs, build quality, price

Weakness:

Size if at all

Great speaker specially when matched to the other Delta series speakers. Sound is free flowing, crisp, and the imaging is bar none the best. My system consists of the following:

Denon AVR-3300
Delta 60
Delta 40
Delta Center
PSW-D115

This complete system cost me a little over $2,200.00. The speakers were all bought at onsale.com.

I need nothing else. This setup is awesome and might surprise some philes out there.

Strength:

Blends with left/right mains

Weakness:

Kind of big

I started with a KLH center and got rid of that in about 20 minutes. Then got a CC-1, which sounded fine. However, I then upgraded to Infinty Delta 60 mains and wanted to voice match with a Delta Center. I am glad I did, HT sounds way better because this center blends so well with the mains. It almost seems like it's not there (which it is supposed to do). Also, DTS Cds sound about 100 times better since this relies on the center a lot more than HT even. I bought this used for $200 from E-bay and it was worth it. I've never over driven this bad boy. Overall the Infinity Delta line, while last years news, is very good.

My system:
Receiver: Kenwood 3080
Sub: Velodyne CT120
Mains: Infinity Delta 60s
Rear: Infinity RS3s
