Strength:

1. Well built with a steel screen cover. 2. 1" silk dome tweeter; 7" cellouse driv, rubber surround. Freq. Resp.- 38,000- 26,000hz. Easy to listen to. I love this speaker I am sorry I did not buy two. Will make good fronts for HT. Music Peak - 110 watts.

Weakness:

None so far

This speaker, the nestor 403 is actually a bookshelf speaker, which I am using for a center. This speaker right out the box is truly awesome!! Canton, a Manuf. from Germany is the Mercedes Benz of speakers. I did some research and read some reviews and this speaker is everything I thought it would be: very neutral and linear through its range, which is a very good match for my Acoustic Research AR302's, warm, smooth but assertive and not aggressive, depending on the musical source. The 403 is out of production (1999), but if you can find one please get them you will be glad you did. EQUIPMENT: The "venerable" AR302's (1994)- Fronts. Canton Nestor 403/Omage C100 Centers. Infinity Sterlings - Surrounds. Adire Shiva 12" Sub. Already a Ledgend. Teac-AGD9320,Receiver with 2-Parasound HCA-1201A 150 watts Mono Blocks preamp out on Front Channels. Onkyo Integra CD Player. Pioneer DV-414 DVD Player. Dual - Turntable.
