Sound quality

The box is a little large and doesn''t sit atop my TV as well as I''d like.

I just bought this center channel and it sounds great. I almost bought the JBL N-CTR as Future Shop was clearing them out @199.99. I read some of the reviews on the JBL and noticed that the purchase price ranged from 90 some $ US to 140US. Future Shop wouldn''t lower the price so I compared it to the Athena. Wow! big differnce in sound quality. The Athena sound more well rounded with deeper bass and a clear high end. I cranked up the receiver and the Athena sounds great, no noticable distortion. I never had a HTS before and just invested in a Yamaha 5460 at Soundsaround. Their service was great and they gave me the Athena for 199.00 which was just as good a price as the JBL clearance item, can''t ask for anything more.

This is an underpriced speaker for the quality that you get. It is super clear. Lots of bottom end. Keeps up with the more pricey center channels. I give it five stars.
